"We highly recommend JA Drywall. They are the best contractors we have used in the South Jersey area! We used them for a large job to frame, drywall, spackle and trim the attic plus fit doors for storage spaces. They were response to our request for a quote, provided a clear break-down so we had full transparency of the costs and could select the amount of work we wanted to do at this time. Juan and Isaias were very friendly but professional. Isaias was onsite through the framing, drywall, trim work and door installation. Juan checked in with us regularly and visited to check the progress and quality of the work. They communicated really well - from arranging arrival times in the morning, and during the work to inform us about the progress of the project and to ask if any adjustments were required. They are extremely customer focussed and wanted to ensure we were happy at every stage of the work. They took a lot of care and went above and beyond to protect the wood floors and walls from damage when they had to bring the drywall through the house to the attic. "The work was completed to complete satisfaction and even went beyond expectations in terms of service and deliverables. I had Mel replace an existing door in a non standard size doorway. I have other projects and thought this would be a good way to get to know Mel and the work I could expect. What I can say from what I learned is that Mel is very much a seasoned craftsman as demonstrated by his solid work and attention to detail. He is also timely, responsive, and trust worthy which are all things I look for in a contractor. I plan to use Mel for my next project and would highly recommend him to someone who is looking for these characteristics in a contractor. My only hesitation in writing this review is that he may become too busy and then I might have to wait for him, but in all honesty I would be happy to wait."

"Initial person was too chatty, too much information, overwhelming. Later more succinct. Workers who did test & insulation (blower door test to reveal air leaks). Workmen were sufficient and polite. Two years later discovered they had caulked Marvin windows which should NOT be caulked in order to wash them w/ moveable parts. It cost me $175 to have them repaired or caulking removed. This was done & I submitted a bill 11/13/14 and have not been reimbursed yet. Have called 2x's to remind, last time man said he thought it was done and he would see about it. That was 3 weeks ago the last time and 7 weeks from the first reminder. It is now 2/24/15."

"It went completely great. He addressed the situation and did the repair. Left to make a soffit replacement and returned to repair. Very much appreciated the quick responsiveness. Did not want these pieces falling off to do any damage and he responded immediately.
