"Last April I purchased a brand new condominium. There was quite a bit of construction dust as well as some construction debris in the air ducts once the building was completed. I finally decided to hire Dustbusters Duct Cleaning this month to clean them out. The dryer vent was also cleaned and the central AC coil was inspected. Jeremy was the technician who performed the job. He was punctual, polite and courteous, and very knowledgeable. Jeremy explained the entire process to me and showed me before and after pictures of the air ducts. I have noticed that the air flow from my heating system seems stronger now which indicates to me that cleaning the air ducts has improved the efficiency of my heating system. "I took off work. The technician arrived said they were not qualified to work on Combi-tankless boilers; though I had explained over the phone when making the appointment; the Combi boiler I had, and the code e352, that I couldn't maintain heat. The boiler shutting down, and I worked nights; so please don't arrive before noon. Upset, I bleed the system myself and refilled going by the Navien manuals I had. The code e352 was gone. The psi was lower, the boiler didn't shut off. But psi was still a little high above 30. Hurley and David could only reschedule for the next day 12Pm to 4PM. Getting up (sleeping in because I work nights) I had 3 phone calls from 9:30am on, Hurley and David saying they were unable to reach me. That additional frustration got ironed out. A technician was sent. His name is Macauley. He immediately knew I needed an expansion tank and replaced same. The price was high, but his professionalism and communication skills made all the difference. And the psi normal"

"My basement recently took on water during the March rains. The wall to wall carpeting and pad in the finished portion of the basement had to be removed. Having had Stephen perform some demo work and trash removal in the past, I was already comfortable with his pricing and quality of work. I called Stephen and told him I needed him asap and he was there the next morning. He worked most of the day tearing up the carpet and removing the tack strips. The carpet pad was glued down in some places which made removal more difficult. On top of that, Stephen had to work around a couch, desk, chair, refrigerator and other items. When he finished removing the carpet, I also had Stephen remove 2 futon frames & mattresses, 2 toilets, a glass shower door and some other junk I wanted out of the house. Stephen swept up after all his work and left the place clean. He called me down a couple times to make sure the work he was doing was meeting my expectations. I would highly recommend hiring Stephen for any type of demo or cleanup work. He works hard and clean and he respects your property"

"Mark was excellent in getting the job done and also was available to answer any questions and concerns we had. He was always there when called upon. We also had him install a new furnace when we did an addition on our house. He really goes above and beyond for customer service."

"Provider called at about 8pm the night before to cancel a Monday appointment.  Granted, this was during a rough winter, but a little more advanced notice would have helped.
Seemed to do a nice, thorough job on the air ducts, however the deal was for a fixed number of supplies & returns.  I had fewer supplies, but more returns, so I was charged a surcharge for each additional return, even though they were shorter than most of my supplies.
Could have done a better job cleaning up dirt and dust that accumulated on my floors around the vents that had piled up during the vacuuming. 
Staff was very nice.
All and all pretty good though, would probably use again.  My vents were filthy and now they are not.

"Sooo....first, Jim is a very nice guy.  However, Jim now works in Nashville during the week and is only home to the Huntsville area on the weekends.
My first impression of him was that he was awesome.  My computer system had crashed because I pulled the plug during a thunder storm before the computer fully shut down which resulted in the computer hanging up.  Jim took my call while in Tennessee and suggested how to fix the system.  For this I am very grateful.

What happened next was I had him come and check my computer to make sure everything was working properly.  He came to my house and spent an hour tweaking it (basically running various checks on the system), for which I paid him $50.  He suggested that my laptop would work much better if I had Windows 7 and increased my RAM up to 4 GB.  He said he could install it for me for (including the RAM) for about $160.  We met the following weekend for the handoff and he loaded Window 7.  When I received the call it was ready, the bill was $227.50.  I was surprised that is was $70 more than quoted, but paid it anyways.  When I asked about the RAM, he mentioned he did not upgrade the RAM and this would be another $60.  I was a little discouraged at that point since I felt like I was being taken advantage of, but the guy is relatively nice, so I said to go ahead and order the RAM.  He did so and the following weekend was supposed to install it.  Due to some personal things in his life, he wasn't able to install it, so I picked it up since I had to go out of town and could use the IT guy at my new location to install it for me.  When we went to install the RAM, the system wouldn't let us do it since my particular type of laptop can only take 2GB of RAM max.  If Jim had gone to the crucial.com website (where he bought my RAM) and entered my computer system on it, it would have told him the max amount of RAM that could be installed on that unit.  He did not do that.  He is supposed to refund my $60 this next weekend.

I think if Jim wasn't burning the candle at both ends by having a job in Tennessee during the week and trying to run this business on the weekends, it would've been a better experience.  Perhaps taking a few extra minutes to SLOW DOWN and write out an estimate of everything he would need for the job including the prices would ensure people know up front how much the repair would/should cost so they can budget accordingly.  I think if he had taken that approach, it might've been a better experience.  So now I am stuck with a laptop that runs slower because Windows 7 uses more memory and a laptop that can't be upgraded to more RAM.  Basically, the last step which cost me almost $300 was not necessary.  If you need something simple done like coming back from a system crash, he would be okay to use.  Otherwise, for the bigger jobs, I recommend he provide a written estimate with the items he plans to do.

UPDATE:  After posting this review, I received a number of text messages from Jim commenting on the bad review.  I understand he is upset, but harassing someone about a review is not a good way to go.  My review was honest and not meant to be mean, but to let those that use Angie's list get what they pay for...an honest review of someone's experience."

"We ended up have 14 windows total replaced. The work done turned out excellent. 

The techs they sent worked very hard and finished by 4 pm in the afternoon. They left the place cleaner then what it was when they stated."

2 workers showed up , started to demolish, were not very careful where all the bricks and old insulation fell.

the worker, were very personable, nice, but slobs. The chimney was rebuild and I assume was done right,

it took two days. The clean up wasn't so good, I offered the use

of our leaf blower to get rid of the old insulation which was spread on the roof, I finally told them to go because

the mess they created was damaging some of the ground cover and planting.

Nice guys, but clean up is not high on the list.  I had to hire some one to clean the roof and also clean out the gutters

there was 2 inches of sand in the gutter. They also would honor the Coupon I had from Angie's list booklet,

reason: there was more work than they thought.( I have to believe them I don't know.)

The chimney looks good

, but this company should invest in some tarps, which makes to clean up easier.
