"I met Robert for an estimate. Robert is a straight shooter, gave a competitive estimate, and no pressure at all. I decided to go with him after another estimate I got was borderline gouging. I was impressed with how efficiently and quickly his crew worked. These guys know what they are doing. Many companies can insulate an attic but Attic Air can also replace attic and bathroom fans. Make sure your soffit though has holes in it to let air into the attic. This was an optional piece for me but the crew chief explained to me the new attic fan that was being installed would burn out if there was not enough air coming in from the soffit for the fans to circulate. I also took advantage to replace two other very old bathroom fans with more powerful Panasonic 100 cfm LED fans to take advantage of the crew being in the attic. My second floor used to be 3 degrees cooler than what the thermostat showed on the first floor, but is now 1 degree or no difference. I am hoping I won't need a separate cooler fan in the summer on the second floor. Didn't need a separate heater for winter at least or shiver unless I brought up the temperature on first floor."

"George came out promptly and did a thorough inspection of the crawlspace and provided options on what can be done. The insulation work was performed by Jesus who also found and fixed two foundation cracks. Encapsulation was done by Juan's team and they all did a great job. They were able to perform all the work with a very narrow opening into the crawlspace and were also able to fit in the dehumidifier. After installation there was a minor issue with the dehumidifier and Craig came right away to fix it. Great experience and I'd definitely use their services in the future if need be."

"Jim is very knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. He came out a couple of times prior to the work and explained everything very thoroughly, and helped us understand why we had the cold spots we did. We were very impressed with his knowledge, and other companies we called either could not see us in a reasonable time frame or wouldn't service our area. He just did the work today, and we don't have drywall back up yet but we can already tell the difference. They were very punctual, and made sure the area was properly set up before doing the insulation, and then cleaned up when they were done. The spray foam works wonders, and I highly recommend it if you also have areas in your home that could use better insulation. Totally worth the money - I'm sure we will make it back on savings on our heating bill. <br />"

"The job went very well. Got their estimate very quickly and scheduled the work easily. The price was very competitive. They handled all of the rebates from Nicor. <br /> On the day of installation the crew arrived on time and went about their tasks in a very business like manner. They were very careful to keep my house clean and made sure that the blown-in insulation was confined to my attics. After they were done with their work they cleaned up after themselves - a small amount of materials and insulation primarily outside. <br /> And now the best part! They told me that insulating my house could save me money on my energy bill. I had the work done in November and I just received my heating bill for the 30 day period of mid-December to mid-January with the actual meter reading. During that period the average daily temperature this year was three degrees colder than last year (17 degrees versus 20 degrees) and guess what! The amount of energy that I used this year was down almost 44%. I estimate that I saved approximately $54 on this month's Nicor bill. <br /> So all in all, I would recommend getting your home re-sealed and re-insulated. "Estimator Steve Schmidt came to my home the same day I called, and I received their proposal the following day. I have a 50- year-old townhouse in which the insulation in the attic had settled to only a few inches deep. While the building code for new construction requires 19" of insulation, he informed me that older structures are "grandfathered" and do not have the same requirements. Nevertheless, he recommended at least 12".  Since I am preparing the townhouse for sale, I agreed that this would be a reasonable amount and an economical solution.  He was prepared to send an installer out within 48 hours, but due to my schedule, we set up an installation date a week later.  The installer arrived exactly on time at 8:00 a.m. He was very courteous and professional and finished the job within a couple of hours.  I expected there to be a lot of dust from blowing in the insulation, but dust was minimal. He put thick batts of insulation over the trapdoor opening, so it also is insulated. He lay down plastic sheeting over his path in and out of the house (it was pouring rain), and cleaned up after himself.   I felt the price was acceptable and am pleased with the job. "
