Everything went smoothly from start to end, no surprises.  Bill showed up on time, installed the new door with great attention to detail, addressed all my concerned and left the spot in ideal condition. "We had sola tubes with fans in both bathrooms and since we are going through a remodel, we wanted just the light. We also had one in our hallway that had become covered with something that darkened it. The company says this shouldn't happen, so Gloria set an appointment for Ryan to come out and see what needed to be done. We needed some new sheetrock done in the bathrooms, so we arranged that. It wasn't done correctly by the people we hired, so Ryan actually made three trips here. We were only charged on the last trip when he was able to complete everything. He was very helpful and pleasant as was Gloria and everyone else we came into contact with at the company. "Rafeal and his crew did amazing work. The previous owner of our home did an add on and cut corners. We knew the siding work was bad and that it needed to be replaced. When Golden Quality Builds started work, Rafeal was very informative on what the siding removal revealed. He was ready with suggestions and showed us exactly what needed to be repaired before moving forward. The evening that we were informed of each new singing we had an estimate ready. It only took an additional week from what we expected which was REALLY fast since there were two sizable discoveries after work began. "CHRISTOPHER & COMPANY EMPLOYEE STEVE ASSESSED THE PROBLEM, EXPLAINED HIS SOLUTION, WENT TO HOME DEPOT TO PURCHASE MATERIALS AND CAME BACK TO REPAIR THE DRY ROT DAMAGE.  HE REMOVED THE DRY ROT AREAS OF THE DOOR AND DOOR FRAME AND THEN REPLACED THE DAMAGED AREAS WITH PLASTIC SO WE DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT DEALING WITH DRY ROT IN THIS AREA AGAIN.  HE CAULKED AREAS TO MAKE A COMPLETE SEAL.  HE PAINTED THE  AREAS WHERE THE REPLACEMENT MATERIALS BUTTED UP AGAINST THE REMAINING AREAS TO MAKE A FINISHED LOOK THAT BLENDED WITH THE OLD, REMAINING ADJACENT AREAS OF THE DOOR AND FRAME.  
ALSO HAD HIM GIVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACING TWO DOORS ON OUR GARDEN SHED.
PLUS HAD HIM LOOK AT A DRY ROT AREA UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK.  STEVE EXPLAINED HOW HE WOULD GO ABOUT REPLACING THE UNDER SINK AREA MAKING CERTAIN THE  SUPPORTING WALL WAS ADEQUATELY REPAIRED TO  CONTINUE THE SUPPORT OF THE TILED COUNTER TOP. 
CLEANED UP THE AREA WHERE HE WORKED AND REMOVED ALL DEBRIS.

"Colton came out several times to scope out the project details and provide a bid, both with and without cabinets included. After I gathered seven, we decided to hire Carlstrom Construction/Kitchen Visions for the whole job with the exception of the countertop fabrication and install (done through a Costco deal with another company). I had a tight timeline to meet so we worked quickly to establish decisions on cabinetry and a start date.

After the cabinets were built in Sean's shop, Sean and Jerry came out to do the remodel in our kitchen. The work went quickly and efficiently on the days when they had everything they needed. They were flexible and accommodating as I had questions and concerns. Thoughtfulness and attention to detail in their workmanship are noticeable in the finished work. I also especially appreciated it when Jerry needed to pop upstairs to check on some connected plumbing and took the care to remove his shoes since we're a no-shoes household. That, along with Sean's ideas and feedback as we spoke during the course of the project displayed their care and experience in delivering great results. 

Some delays on materials (cabinet fronts, flooring) came up but they still completed the work within a day of when we needed the kitchen to be completed. There were also a few surprises (lighting didn't quite illuminate the new peninsula so I hired an electrician to put in pendants this week, some cabinets had less usable space than we expected) All things considered, this project went relatively smoothly. We ran several thousand over budget, but it was completed well. Even with some hiccups from the counter top installation delay and flooring delays, they were able to work swiftly to get everything done. At one point, we realized our large stand mixer wouldn't fit on the new counters because of the valance to accommodate under-cabinet lights or on any of the new slide-out pantry shelves. Sean was very flexible about lowering the drawer guides a few inches even though it was already in so we appreciated it.

It's only been a week now, but we're definitely enjoying our new kitchen. Some adhesive smells are still lingering so they're continuing to be aired out and I'm still finding sawdust film on cabinet surfaces (and everywhere in the garage), but we're otherwise quite happy with the completion of our kitchen. As I've been gradually reorganizing the space in the kitchen, I actually found that a few more shelves would be helpful. When I mentioned this to Sean on a short visit to tie up loose logistical ends, he even offered to make the two shelves for me. Overall, they are focused on making sure we got what we needed for the kitchen and making sure we're satisfied.

Overall, Carlstrom Construction does great work are a pleasure to work with for any of your remodeling needs. We will definitely keep them in mind for any major remodel projects we would like to tackle in the future.
