"It's 8 PM, 80 degrees outside with the same for humidity, and I noticed that the temperature in the house is getting warm. After doing some troubleshooting, I found out the compressor for the A/C had shut off. I called Comfort By Design's emergency number and within minutes the technician that was on call, called me back. He explained that since the outside temperature was dropping to the 60's that evening, that maybe we should wait until morning to perform a repair, IF a suggestion he made did not pan out. So come morning, the compressor was still not working, I called their office at 7:15 and scheduled a technician to come out. Being that it was starting to get very warm and the calls were coming in, I figured that it would be late in the afternoon. To my pleasant surprise, they were at the house by 8:30, and 15 minutes later they had it fixed (it was a relay that needed to be reset). I was very pleased with the response and the quickness in which the problem was solved. I will continue to use them for my heating and air conditioning needs."

When he saw I already replaced one part while trying to self-diagnose he asked if I wanted to replace the part he found I really needed myself in order to save on installation costs and I did. He ordered it for me to pick up, gave me his cell number and said just call if I had any questions while installing. Well I screwed it up and he came out and fixed everything properly and didn't even charge for the call back. You don't get service like this anymore. I wish these guys fixed cars too! I'd hire them in a minute. I've also hired them in the past for rental properties I've had to fix things other HVAC guys could not. "I called because a toilet that is seldom used in the extra bathroom did not refill after flushing to freshen the water. The person who answered my phone call, the receptionist who I talked to the next day and the plumber who responded were all very friendly and professional. The plumber explained to me why the toilet did not refill because of water deposits and was now o.k. He tested it many times to make sure it was working properly. Then, I asked him to check out the other toilet because it would start filling with water at all times. He replaced the ??? (I can't read his handwriting) and tested it many times to make sure it was now working properly. He also tightened a faucet handle on the sink. This was the day after a huge snow storm and he took the time to help my neighbor whose car was stuck in the snow. I had a lot of snow in front of my garage door and he then waited and watched to make sure that I got out to the road o.k. I will definitely call them again and would highly recommend this company."

They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up and took all the packaging with them. We will definitely use MN Plumbing for all our future needs!!!"

He arrived at our home on time and quickly diagnosed two problems. Although he had another service call to make at 5:00 pm, he returned at 7:30 with the required parts (three in all-two from his warehouse and one from an auto parts store) and finished the job. Since the weather was in the 90's every day, we were extremely grateful for his willingness to provide same day, after-hours service. They honored the Angie's List coupon and allowed us to avoid the costly bill of replacing our furnace and AC."
