"George and his team did an excellent job with the install. I received quotes that were much higher for the same project and similar systems. As busy as George was he always answered my questions leading up to the install and was there right when he said he would be. George even helped me plumb a water line to my refrigerator and didn't charge me for the material he used! I have already recommended Absolute Water Systems to a friend and will certainly be using them for any future projects."

"My problem with them was when you called them they'd put you on hold for a while. The service was pretty good. I'd been with them for several years. They came out about ten times before they finally decided to replace it. They'd come out and work and something else would be wrong with it. Overall they were pretty good. The plan I was on it was coming out of my check automatically, but then back in March they had stopped taking the money. So I called them and asked what was going on and they said they didn't have my plan anymore. I was told that to stay with them I'd have to pay $99 for the new plan. They didn't notify me or anything. I wouldn't use them again. The price went up to high."

"Mike the owner came by and gave me an estimate - as we progressed we found additional issues with my folks home that needed to be addressed. Mike and his team did a thorough and professional job. I truly appreciate all they did and all the help they provided to ensure that we got the issues at my parents home fixed and resolved and best of all the work is guaranteed and transferable to whomever the future owners will be! How can anyone ask for more... professional, friendly, polite and very respectful of the home and taking extra precautions not to track in the home, etc... and to always leave it better than they found it...  The crew was all wonderful and respectful as well ... really appreciated their work ethic!!!!

FAQs for well pump installation and replacement projects in Lebanon, ME

Signs that your well pressure tank requires replacement include inconsistent water pressure, your pump turning on and off frequently (known as short cycling), visible leaks around the tank, or unusual noises from your well system. Physical damage, corrosion, or a tank that's reached its seven to 10-year expected lifespan may also indicate it's time for replacement. When multiple issues arise simultaneously, replacement often proves more economical than attempting repairs.

The timeframe for professional well pressure tank replacement varies depending on your specific system and any complications that might arise during installation. Factors that can affect installation time include accessibility of your current tank, whether additional components need replacement, and the complexity of your well system. For precise timing expectations, consult with the professional handling your installation.

Attempting to replace your well pressure tank involves several potential risks, including improper pressure calibration that could damage your pump, contamination of your water supply, and physical injury from handling heavy equipment. Additionally, incorrect installation might lead to water leaks, property damage, or system inefficiency. Many manufacturers also specify that professional installation is required to maintain warranty coverage, making the $125 to $200 professional installation fee a worthwhile investment for most homeowners.
