"The three men repaired the leak.  I have not had to have similar work done before, so I don't know how to evaluate the overall quality of the work.  The water leak was solved.  However, there were several things that I did not like about how the workman did the work.  I guess they thought they had me at a weak point, because they did a hard sell to get me to buy a premium plumbing inspection package that they claimed would qualify me for lower price on parts (I do not know whether they did in fact give me the lower price that they promised because the invoice was difficult to read.  To do the bypass of the broken pipe, the workmen had to cut four holes in the drywall.  The holes they cut seemed rougher (and thus more difficult and costly for me to get repaired) than would have been necessary.  One hole needed to be cut in the drywall behind my almost new water heater.  They pressured me into buying a new water heater, saying that it would cost the same to install a new water heater as to putting the existing water heater back after completing the bypass.  I don't think that was actually true.  During the two days that the men were working to bypass the broken pipe, a nice compact pump that I had to inflate my auto tires disappeared from the counter top where I had it stored near my back door.  Also, to test that the bypass had solved the leak, one of the men poured water from a bottle he had been drinking out of into my water line.  That was an unsanitary and I felt disrespectful act. <br />"

"We needed to relocate a gas mainline and meter to allow for us to build a pool in our yard. This project required work to be completed by both SW Gas (Responsible for the mainline running through our back yard and the meter) and a plumber who could re-plumb our interior gas line to hook up to the new meter location. This was no simple task. Coordinating between SW Gas, their third-party contractor, our plumber, and the City of Tempe for permits and inspections seemed like a recipe for a construction nightmare. Phend was the most professional bid and provided us with the best rate. I don't typically write reviews, but Phend went so far beyond my expectations it would be negligent for me not to. "Kirk and Susie are the best in the business!  Croffoot has been servicing our AC and heating units for the past few years, but it was time to replace the old units - they were over 13 years old.  Kirk and his crew removed the old units and installed two completely new AC and gas heating units.  They did a terrific job! "We were having trouble with one toilet in the house: it flushed slowly, the tank filled slowly, and the toilet clogged frequently - and we couldn't figure out why. I spoke with Justin, the owner of Just Plumbing, who arrived the next morning to diagnose the problem and give us an estimate. As he would be out-of-town, he scheduled a couple of his staff to return to do the work on an afternoon when we could be home. <br /> On the afternoon the work was to be done, Brendan called to let us know that they were en route. When they arrived, Brendan and Rigo introduced themselves then went right to work. When they found the problem with the tree roots, they explained how we could try an inexpensive and quick fix first (using a product that would kill the roots), rather than deal with the big, expensive job it could be (tearing up the trees and the back yard to get to the main septic line and replacing it). The easy solution may take care of the problem permanently but if it doesn't, it will still buy us some time before we have to spend a lot more money. Knowing that they could have just told us that we need to have the bigger job done - and not knowing any better, we would have just gone along with it, going into debt in the process - we really appreciated their advice. <br /> The men then ran into a much smaller challenge with the uneven floor. They made the repairs themselves, just letting us know what they had done. Before they left, Brendan and Rigo cleaned up everything, as if they had never even been here, and asked us to inspect their work to make sure we were happy with what they had done and to answer any qestions we might have. <br /> Before they left, the men thanked us, shook hands and then went on their way. <br /> We liked Justin Fredericks and Brendan and Rigo who did the work. The job was done well and we appreciated that they did not just try to sell us on a bigger, very expensive job that we might not need for quite some time - and just cannot afford right now. We would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work. <br />"

I was thinking they would come and patch up the existing piping but they actually quickly replaced all the faulty piping that was either cracked or detached and replaced it not only with better materials but also a better set-up to make it more secure to avoid future incidents as much as possible. They also gave me such a fair, and honestly great, deal. I expected to pay easily $500 more than I did. They are competitive and fair in their pricing and I will definitely be going with them again for any of my plumbing needs!"
