"Initial Call: Within 24 hours of contacting Retrofoam of Southwest Michigan, LLC; we received a call to schedule an appointment immediately. Bob Hafler came out on a Saturday; discussed insulation options & provided a quote. He offered his Cell # for direct communication; maintained close contact and scheduled 4 days ahead of an established appointment to work with our project needs. Day of Appointment: Technician (Dan) called when they left the shop to provide the arrival time and a 2nd time to explain that a flat tire on I-94 would delay original appt time. The crew (Dan & Shane) were professional, considerate, competent, hard-working and friendly. They explained exactly what to expect with the installation as well as cautions for airing out the fumes. They cleaned up affected work areas thoroughly of residue (including our driveway) before they left. The total time was 4 ½ hours. Although I provided a down payment in advance to authorize the work; the check was not cashed until several days after the job was complete. I feel that this shows a measure of integrity. [Initially called 4 companies to arrange quotes; this was the only company who bothered to respond and came all the way from Hamilton, MI]"

"Retrofoam removed the fiberglass and blown-in insulation from our attic. They then sprayed their open cell foam on the underside of our roof. Both work crews were very professional and conscientious of the areas where they worked in our house. They did a great job with the coverage areas of the foam. The temperature difference in our attic now is amazing compared to before. It is comfortable to be in the attic now. We use it for storage so we are up there often."

He listened closely the several times we met before i received the detailed bid. He was great in the creative and planning process. He came up with several ways to achieve what i wanted. He explained how he would install the windows to both be very attractive and weather tight. He was patient with decisions. He was willing to hold various types of siding in place so i could get a real idea of how the different options would work. His eye for detail is amazing and his desire for perfection is evident. The woodwork Ed did on the inside framing of the windows is beautiful. He has worked harder than any previous builder to be sure i was happy with the end result. On a day to day basis, Ed and his workers were professional and easy to "live with". They were always sensitive to avoiding more upheaval than necessary for such a long project. They cleaned up every night and left the place as neat as possible. They always informed me of their arrivals for the next day and of any delays. I would definitely recommend Northwest Tile and Interiors for any of this type of work."
