"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Our sewer backed in the early morning of 4/18/2013, after torrential, flood-causing rains.  We called Mastercat in the early morning and explained our situation.  We spoke directly to the lead guy, Donny.  His response time was terrrific and he had a team of 3  at our house that day ( a day where hundreds were experiencing the same problem throughout Chicagoland) ready to get to work...And work they did!  The team was very hard working and stayed very late into the night until the entire job was done.  It is very hard to find this kind of commitment these days, and we very much appreciated it.  Also, given the floods, dumpsters were hard to find.  The lead team member was very helpful and was able to call a dumpster company he had used  in the past for us and a dumpster was there in a matter of hours to hold all of the damaged materials pulled out of our basement (filled a whole 20 yard dumpster).  The team was very thorough and transformed the basement from a horrible mess into a gutted, clean, sanitized space within a matter of 9 to 10 hours.  Both before and after the job I had questions for Donny and would text, call, and email him and he was always very responsive, often getting back to me in a matter of minutes.  Again, a rare quality in customer service these days.  Thank you Mastercat, Donny, and cleanup team for a job very well done!

"They cooked our Thanksgiving dinner, helped arrange parties, and have done house sitting for us. That is how I originally found them on Angies List; I was looking for a house sitter while we went on vacation for three weeks. They have arranged exterior concreting for me. I talk to them and do not have to deal with the sub-contractor. They have done some light interior, carpentry, and plumbing. They arranged for the people to come in and install a light for me. I do not use them as a general contractor. I use them for when I need something done I call Loretta and she will call the sub-contractors and then call me back and tell me the price."
