"I was looking for a new Heat/AC business for maintenance after many less than excellent experiences in the past. Several people recommended Holtzpole, so I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did because they are the best. I was specifically looking for a yearly maintenance contract and also someone I could rely on in an emergency. Before they would consider their top tier maintenance contract, a technician had to come and inspect the system. I was given a 3-hour window for the appointment and Kevin arrived within the first hour. I ask for no shoes in the house and Kevin took care to put on and remove shoe covers every time he came in or left the house. Kevin performed the check and explained the adjustments he made. I also pointed out a concern regarding a leaking drainage tube and Kevin was able to replace this at a fair price. "Furnace was not operating because the company's automatic delivery system ran me out of oil.
Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. Had to reschedule again.
The third technician showed up on time with all the correct parts and worked most of the day to get the system operating properly.
He was completely knowledgeable and very conciencious that everything was working correctly.

"Horizon Services was tasked to replace a 25 year old Central Air system. The team was on time, well mannered, polite, friendly, worked as one unit. Talking and giving suggestions to another if needed. Any mess they made, they cleaned up. I left the house to return to work. I left my cell phone number for them to call me if they completed the job prior to my return. they attempted to return items to their original space. I don't remember the crew taking a lunch break. I asked if anyone had lunch? They stated "finishing this job is more important.". The job took approximately ten hours. (Non stop) It was expensive, but worth it! When they removed the antiquated material it was replaced with brand new up to date equipment., The old equipment was taken away! I would highly recommend Horizon Services to anyone who asked."

The heating consultant that they sent, Alex H, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He provided us with estimates for a number of options - similar to those from other HVAC companies that quoted for this work. A day later I received a call from Blue Dot offering a discount on that quote and we accepted that quote. Alex made the one and a half hour drive to visit with us again, to walk us through the contract details, and to explain install process. This was a really nice touch as usually contracts are signed electronically these days. The Blue Dot install team came on time on the scheduled day and did a neat and professional job with the install - performing all the necessary checks and tests, and left the work area clean and tidy - and with the HVAC systems working well.
