"Mr. Ricky put down hardwood flooring in our ENTIRE home back in August and we are still enjoying our new floors. The floors look amazing!! He was a great help when choosing the grade of flooring we needed. He is a joy to talk to, trust worthy and professional. We would hire Mr. Ricky again!"

"We had a wonderful experience. Ron’s crew did excellent work. They self-leveled a bedroom floor and installed hardwoods. We couldn’t be happier with the results. And Ron managed everything from start to finish. The job cost was right in line with our budget too. We will have Ron and his crew back when we’re ready to have a bigger flooring project done."

"John came to our house and did a very thorough estimate. He not only measure the sq. footage, he also measured the underlayment/subfloors and took time to determine how to lay the floors against the stone fireplace. John's knowledge and expertise along with the very competitive estimate is why we chose to hire Floors To Go. John's team who installed the floors were prompt, very professional, clearly knew what they were doing. I was impressed by their work ethic and the house was clean and put back together when they were finished. The floors look amazing and we are very happy with the experience we had with Floors To Go."

"They've been fine. They came out and talked with us. We haven't actually called to settle, but we've actually had them do other work for us. They've done an excellent job on the work that they've done for us. we're not just ready to have them do the other job. That has been a couple of years ago, they actually re-did our step. They've done an excellent job. We called them to talk about redoing some floors, but we're not just ready to do that yet. With the holidays and everything, we haven't gotten back to them. They did a great job. So I would give them a five if that's the highest because they did a great job."

FAQs for flooring install, repair, or refinish projects in New Hill, NC

Removing tile flooring is a messy job. Expect flying chip fragments, mortar dust, and plenty of debris. Protect the space with plastic sheeting and drop cloths, and gear up with goggles and a respirator before you start prying. Pros keep the mess in check by attaching industrial vacuums to their tools, a setup that captures dust at the source and leaves the work zone far cleaner than a DIY approach.

Removing the old tile first is almost always the smarter play. If you tile over worn or uneven flooring, the new surface can crack, pop, or sit higher than the surrounding rooms. Fixing that later costs far more, especially if you need to re-level the floor. By demoing the tile now, you get a flat, solid subfloor and avoid surprise repairs down the road.
