"This is the third job we've had Bruce and his team complete for us, and once again they did an outstanding job. At this point we don't even look for other bids because we know the price will be right, the installation will be top notch, and the installers will display the utmost professionalism.Once again, all of the above was true. Bruce's team was fast, professional, and perfectly courteous. They were careful to explain options to me as they went along, and they made sure that I understood everything they were doing. They were super careful in draping the carpet and furniture, and everything was cleaned up perfectly when they left. I should also mention the estimate process. Bruce was really clear about the estimated time-frame and all costs we would encounter. Even though the weather was bad and the install took longer than expected he stood by his original bid as he has every time. That's the kind of old-fashioned integrity that you hope for when looking for a contractor! Bruce has lots of great ideas and the new window configuration he suggested is so beautiful that I can hardly bear to put drapes up.We just can't say enough about Mountain View Installations - Bruce and his team are top notch professionals and are a delight to work with every time. "We had the front and one side wall of our siding replaced, a new back door installed, and the entire house repainted. The quality of our service was excellent from beginning to end. From the initial consultation, I felt like the team was on our side, willing to help us get the best value for our money and make the right decision for our situation. We had a few hiccups, but the team was responsive and solved the problems quickly. The best part was that they volunteered to solve the problems immediately without having to be asked. For example, our internet line was accidentally cut during the demo phase; when I let the team leader know, he immediately told me to call the internet company to have it repaired and that they would cover the cost. All the workers at the house were professional and easy to work with. They were very fast. The siding took about 3 full days, including installing a new back door. The painting took just about a day and a half. I was impressed with the speed and quality of the work. We're very happy with the results. The house looks much "younger" now, and my husband is convinced several of the upstairs rooms are warmer because of the new insulation."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

NorthWoods Handyman has been an excellent partner for a number of repairs we're making to our farm house. Ron, the owner, came out to our house at our scheduled time to do an initial estimate of the repairs. He explained how he worked, who he'd bring out with him and what we could expect. My respect for him rose right away when he told us straight out that there was one type of repair he didn't do (carpet patching). I'd rather have someone tell me that up front than try to do it and make a mess of it!
Ron and his team did everything they said they were going to do and more. Along the way, they made good recommendations to make things even better (adding baseboards to the flooring, for example). They were patient when I changed my mind on the shower surround I wanted, and returned the old one to Home Depot without complaint. They even helped us move furniture around to make room for the flooring installation. Ron picked up all the materials we needed, credited back any extra items, and provided receipts for everything without my having to ask for them.
The repairs they have made look great. And the new flooring they installed in the basement is fantastic! Everyone who has seen it has commented about how great it looks. They've also been very respectful of our house and our time, letting us know when they are arriving or leaving, cleaning up after themselves, and just generally taking care of things. There was no mess left behind when they were done.
We will definitely be using NorthWoods Handyman again. In fact, we have already asked him to estimate four more projects for us, and are looking forwards to getting those completed.

UPDATE: We contracted NorthWoods Handyman again to complete some more minor projects, including one really icky one (pulling down old insulation out of a farm shed). They arrived on time and got everything done in two days! The work was excellent, and we're very pleased. I've upgraded their punctuality score to an A.

Interior and exterior painting.

"This was a tough period due to cold weather conditions but they stayed on top pof ther situation and worked when ever conditions allowed. A lot of prep work was needed due to the poor condition of the wood. (This house was built in 1929). In the end, Joe and his entire family worked long hours in order to take advantage of a short window of good weather. At one point he dismantled the entire roof over the front porch in order to get at a section of wood that was otherwise inaccessable. Talk about thorough!  The quality of the work is excellent and the price was highly competitive. Thank you Moreno Family!"

"Josh and Omni Services did a great job refreshing the exterior of my home.  the bulk of the project took just over 3 days to complete.  Josh and his team did quality work and in my conversations with Josh, it is obvious that he cares about the quality of work he puts out.  He was also able to make some last minute adjustments to the project a few days before starting when I decided late to also replace the garage door.

Bison Country Inc. was established January 1st, 2020 with the idea that we would slowly build multiple construction companies, one for each trade. The idea is to bring together the best and most knowledgeable personnel under one roof so that we can better serve the community with out the hassle of going through third parties and sub-contractors. We currently have Bison Builders Inc. our general contracting company, Bison Mechanical Inc. our plumbing company, Bison Excavation Inc. our excavation company, Bison Electrical Inc. our electrical company, and Bison Landscaping Inc. our land scaping company. We are currently working on getting all of the companies up and running, it is a slow process as of right now Bison Builders Inc, Bison Mechanical Inc, and Bison Excavation Inc. are the companies that currently have the capacity to take on projects of varying sizes. We are 100% family and veteran owned and though it may seem like we are big we are very much a small business trying to survive in this ever changing world.
