"they came out the same day i called which was nice. i dropped 1 star bc of the time it took to install 2 water heaters, we were told 2-3 hours but in reality took almost 10 hours. Also we were forced to make a decision on the spot RE: replacement due to the high non refundable diagnosis fees. they charge a fee to come out (they tell you about on the phone) And a diagnosis fee (told us after the work was done), which is strange bc what's the point of having someone come out and Not diagnose the problem? regardless it's been 2 mos and the boilers are working fine with no call backs needed."

"All of the above required removing the toilet (in bathtub - I did say OK - but not for all of the associated trash to go there too.) and removing the vanity sink. Nothing was used to cover/protect the vanity or the walls and door facings as vanity came and went back. Bathroom is small but no effort made. Several nicks in the drywall and door facing.Tile floor okay except for the cup size hole in the drywall above the moulding - that was left with a piece of drywall repair mesh covering . And the grout line that meets the tub is not clean. It has many spots where the grout is up on the tub.

Guys were polite and personable but.................

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
