"Bill came out as scheduled and within the time frame and evaluated my situation. He checked for leaks and told me my furnace was safe. I was greatly relieved and hope to follow up with their company for repairs or replacement in the future. He was very professional and has significant experience in this field. He stated he has been with the company for 25 yrs. I was very pleased with the service."

"The technician (Lance) was courteous, professional, and very helpful. He took the time to gather all of the background info regarding our AC situation and gave us helpful tips regarding vent usage, attic fans, and installing another vent in the master bedroom to help with airflow. Basically, he didn’t just band-aid the symptom, he helped with some permanent solutions. Here’s the breakdown in cost in case this helps: Adding 3 lbs refrigerant - $349. Contractor Replacement - $282. Dual Run Capacitor Replacement - $174. Annual maintenance for AC & Heating (2 units each) $238."

"I called Ryan because my 15 year old furnace was not functioning. The heat exchangers had pinholes and the secondary exchanger was completely rusted out and clogged. Ryan did his absolute best to come up with the best solution for the least amount of cost to me. In the end the resolution ended up being a new furnace unit. This gentleman is transparent and honest. He took the time to explain to me why I needed a new furnace. He had the opportunity to cobble my old one together and charge me for labor, but his integrity shined through and he let me know it's not safe, and he's not comfortable doing that. I also took the opportunity to have him install a 4" filter box to prevent future system issues due to the awful 1" filter location. I will 100% call Ryan again in the future. Thank you Ryan and Carson!"

"I would recommend Absolute Air to anyone and everyone! The Sales Staff listened to our needs & wants then gave us multiple options at different price points explaining the reasons for the different prices. They didn't try to over sell and actually talked us out of replacing our water heater since it wasn't needed. They checked and fixed everything that was associated with our Furnace and AC replacement including what was needed to move our AC over 3 feet to be within code as part of their service! The whole process from start to finish exceeded our expectations. I just wish you guys did sewer line repair because then I wouldn't have a hard time deciding which company to go with!!"

"I had 4 different companies come out to give bids. Torsten came on short notes and did a heat calc. I was really pleased with his knowledge, appearance and professionalism. He also invited us to the showroom in Ogden to show us the system in person. We were impressed with the company and there work. He had pictures of prior jobs, customer referrals what some other companies did not have or wanted to share. Torsten always returned my calls promptly. Torsten came with Darren prior to the install to discuss the job. They always slipped shoe covers on, what i really appreciated. Mike, Ben, Shane, Darren showed up on time for the job. They always called the home if they were running even 5-10 minutes behind or to say that they are on there way. To have proper ventilation and to eliminate the hot spots upstairs they added more vents. There employees are Nate certified and TRANE factory trained, well groomed and professional. They cleaned always after them self, protected carpet aso....! Torsten came by multiple times to check the progress. We love our new systems it is so much quieter, more even heat throughout. Love the clean effects the odd house smells are gone and a lot less dust and love love the steam humidifier. Mike, Ben and Shane did a fabulous job installing the new systems. They used quality materials like copper. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY, FAMILY, FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS. We got also the 10 years parts and labor what some other companies did not offer. PLEASE GIVE TORSTEN A CALL IF YOU NEED TO REPLACE YOUR HVAC SYSTEM. THANKS for the great service and quality work."

FAQs for heat pump repair or service projects in Park City, UT

Heat pumps move air to cool or warm your home during different seasons. In cold weather, they extract heat from the outdoors and bring it inside to warm your home. In warm weather, they remove heat from your home to keep it cool. This efficient heat transfer increases indoor comfort, improves energy efficiency, and reduces the need for additional heating systems.

Replacing a heat pump costs between $4,200 and $7,900. The actual cost depends on the type of heat pump. Geothermal models are the most expensive to replace, with the price of the unit plus labor ranging between $6,000 and $20,000. Air source models cost between $4,500 and $8,000 to replace, while the replacement costs for a mini split unit run between $1,300 and $8,000.

The average heat pump is designed to last about 14 years, roughly the same as a central air conditioning system (12 to 15 years). Newer models can last 20 years or more. How long your heat pump lasts depends on how frequently you use it and whether you perform routine maintenance like annual tuneups.
