"Out of four estimates this was a personal experience mom and pop compared to large companies. I am sure there are strengths for all, but for me, I liked that the owner was part of the solution. As such, be took extra time, only when I asked, to explain things to me. It felt personal and more importantly, I felt like his teams work was going to be on par with what he would do in his own home. The result was probably more than I needed, as was explained, but with the owner taking the time, I bought a larger, more expensive system. That was a big step. Then came the uncertainty of the install. That's where the experience and confidence shined. Many choices all met with concern, humor and care. It is pretty rare for me, today, to feel good about service providers in my home. Mostly met with mixed results and disappointment. My opinion is that should never happen and if it does the exception rather than the fearful expectation. These folks are too notch. I would encourage you to meet Ryan, the owner and I hope you have the outstanding experience I had."

"Overall great experience. Donald, the inspector, arrived early and patiently waited with me for my real estate agent to arrive. Donald did a thorough inspection of the inside and outside units. He was very knowledgable about pertinent laws and regulations and took his time to explain them. He also explained that the HVAC unit is old, but functioning and that it may have to be replaced in a couple of years. When that day comes I will definitely call Carini again, and ask for Donald."

"I can't say enough good things about Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air. Due to an illness in the family, my daughter was bringing her 6 year old and two year old to visit. Two days before her arrival, in the evening, we had a massive water leak in the kitchen sink. Imaging a non-working kitchen sink with 2 small boys! Not only did they come first thing the next morning, they discovered that the spray hose was broken off from the faucet: it needed replacing. Within a couple of hours, they sent a truck loaded with parts and had the faucet to match our sink exactly and had the job done by that afternoon. They saved the day! The on July 2 in the evening our kitchen sink clogged. We were having people over on the 4th. Once again, they showed up early on July 3, and found that the line needed to be cleared with a snake, which they did. They also sent over a guy who crawled under our house and discovered that the pipes were in bad shape (we had been having water back up from our washing machine from time to time for a few years). They came and replaced an extensive amount of 70 year old cast iron drain pipes for a very reasonable price. After this, we were still having some backup with our washer, and a couple of other minor problems, so the next day they came out and spent a few hours doing additional work AT NO CHARGE to get everything working properly. They have the most customer service oriented policies of any contractor I have ever used. If they do any work without a signed bid, then the work is free. They are a bit more expensive than average, but their guarantees and first class service make them my number 1 choice in San Diego County."

"I have been putting off this major expense because I was uncertain what would be the correct new system for my home. I had four different heating and air conditioning companies come to my home, access my current equipment, make recommendations, and provide estimates for new equipment.
Now I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, after all I type six words a minute.  As I researched my options to change my furnace and air conditioning equipment I found a diverse set of perspectives from the contractors who visited my home, from a recommendation from one contractor to "do nothing and when you sell the house give the next owner an accommodation for the furnace and air conditioner not working". Pass on that idea. To suggestions to relocate the condenser to a different location and to dig up my yard which would have cost 2X what I was charged buy Johnson Air.
Paul provided a comprehensive written proposal for work within 24 hours of visiting our home. Once we accepted the proposal, Paul's office scheduled a date for the work to be initiated which was less than a week out, and this was during a heat wave, so a week sounded very responsive. I was not sure how long I'd have his crew at our home, removing the old eqipment and installing the new gear but my expectation was a couple of days. Not so !  Johnson Air came promptly at 8:00 AM worked through the day and left before 5:00PM.
During the installation they were professional, put down the necessary protection to care for our floors, explained each step of the work to me as it was done as I wanted to be sure I understood what they were doing, and any discuss any issues that arose. They fixed issues/problems that were discoverd during installation, and made suggestions to maximize our new investments.
I am thrilled with the outcome provided by Johnson Air, they left the work area totally cleaned up picking up every little paper and scrap that was created during installation. My new equipment works better than my old gear did even on its best day, and Paul has some ideas on ways we can further improve on the air conditioning for our home. I recommend Johnson Air to anyone who is in need of an honest, high quality heating and air conditioning service for your home needs.
