"Everyone from Presidential has been friendly and helpful -- great customer service! Glenn came to our home to discuss options to replace our furnace (fuel oil) and AC systems with a heat pump. He immediately understood that we were looking for a heat pump eligible for the new tax credits (unlike another company, who only provided estimates on what they had in stock). He prepared the estimates for 3 different models on site, and he noted that the heat pump eligible for the tax credit would cost about the same as an older model (unlike what the first company told us). We were able to schedule installation quickly, and then the adventures began. Harvey and Andre were here for 12+ hours...because a wire was either never connected at the factory or came loose during shipping. We also had to replace a defective line from our house to the unit. While it was a complicated install (not the fault of Presidential), we rec'd great service from hardworking staff members. Highly recommend!"

Within a day, they took out my old system, installed the new system up to factory specs, tested and made sure all phases of heating and cooling were functioning as they should, and cleaned up, taking away all of the old unit, leaving nothing behind. The last thing the head installer told me was that a quality control team would be in touch and be coming in within the next two weeks to make sure everything was continuing to operate as it should. "Emailed one of the owners after hours on a Saturday and he was able to troubleshoot a problem over the phone without having to dispatch a technician.  Turns out the ez-trap on the drain tube had tripped blanking the thermostat screen.  Unit cooling once more and no charge for the consult ;)  This same business installed the new HVAC unit last year and had the best price going at the time.  I can't complain -- good price, good installation, and now good support when I needed it most."

"The Technician was very professional,competent and responsive.
The company shows business hours 24/7. However, the customer support of the company after regular business hours is managed by a third party "answering service" who then relays customers' requests/ orders to the company's point of contact. I found it a little cumbersome to coordinate call through the third party answering service and there was an unnecessary lapse of conveying my request on time. However, for the most part, my experience with the company's direct customer support was without follies.
Being a small to medium size business, I wouldn't hold any experience as negative against the company. However, it will be better if they could manage their own calls answering service so that the orders can be processed within a reasonable timeline, specially for emergency services (e.g., no heating during freezing winter).
On my request, the technician gave me an informal pricing estimate for the replacement of the system which I needed.
At this time, they are within my top two prospective contractors for the final project of replacing the HVAC system.
I would strongly recommend them to other consumers looking for reliable, competitively priced, skilled professional company when considering heating/ cooling work.
