"Sam arrived on time and he was very professional. He answered all my questions and also made good recommendations. After finishing the tune up, I shared with him that I can smell gas in the laundry room or outside the house from time to time for the last year. He immediately checked the connections of the pipe for the dryer and found one wasn’t sealed and there was a gas leak. The previous owner had this house for 5 years and probably they experienced the same issue. Sam fixed the issue . I do not have any gas smell anymore and most of our coughing and difficulty breathing has ceased. I really appreciate the knowledge and the help from Four Season."

"This provider was the third I called (all from Angies list with A ratings) but the first who answered the phone with a person versus voicemail. Since I needed help ASAP after my gas service was shut off due to a leak, I hung up on the voicemails.
The team came to my house within two hours of my call. 
They first checked my gas lines again to make sure Nicor didn't miss anything, using an air pressure testing method that Nicor did not bother with, but which gave better and more complete results.
Once that was done, and there was an initial cost for the service, which they discussed in full with me prior to commencing, they gave me a report on where the leaks were and what it wold take and cost to fix them. Two of the leaks were 'freebies' because there was trivial work involved (doping and tightening screw fixtures) and the other two required additional work. The price was reasonable, I approved the work, and they executed the whole thing in about 2 hours. They finished in time for me to have Nicor back out to reinspect and turn the gas back on the same day, so I can do laundry, cook dinner and bathe the kids again - no sleepovers at relatives waiting on a fix.
I will have them back out to do other, unrelated work in the future for certain."

"Peoples Gas had turned-off gas to fix a minor leak and the hot water heater pilot wouldn't go back on. Neither we nor Peoples Gas knew the correct way to do it. We called Scottish Plumber who had installed the hot water heater two years ago and they set an appointment for the next morning. Fred came on time, remembered installing the heater, showed my husband the proper way to light it if ever needed, and refused to charge us. He was personable and knowledgeable, and very kind."

"The father and son combo successfully fixed the drips in my kitchen and bathroom sinks after getting parts at Home Depot. They replaced the outside hose bib, but used the same sort of plastic handle, when I had asked for a metal one (that I judged wouldn't "strip" as easily over time). And they found (at Home Depot) one hose bib with a pipe a bit too long and another with a pipe a bit too short, but not one that was just right. So they installed the one that was a bit too long and filled the space between the outside brick wall and the flange around the hose bib with caulk (which they did not extend to the bottom of the space, potentially allowing insects (and hot/cold air) to enter the house through the hole in the wall. I thought that was less than ideal, although the new hose bib works fine now (but will it in 2 years when the plastic handle is beaten up?)."
