"My garage door Spring that helps the door roll up broke. I had no idea until I went to open the door...It would not open manually either. I called Neighborhood Garage Door and they were at my house in 45 minutes. I chose to spend a little more to have a second spring and new rollers installed. Jeff Dumm was the Tech and he was very professional, fast and efficient. He took the time to explain to me how the door works and what was good and what could be better. "My existing french patio door had an unusual width, 73 1/2 instead of standard 72. I was going to buy the door from HomeDepot at first, but any time you custom order, the price more than doubles from their in-stock price. So, I just had Caleb get the door from his supplier. I got a Masonite door installed for $1250. Caleb brought the door and custom made it on site, frame and all. The new door has a nice frame that has vinyl bottom to prevent it from rotting, which was one of the reasons why I got this door replaced. As mentioned in other reviews, Caleb is very skilled and detail oriented. During installation, he noticed that the header board was not properly secured and even fixed that. Overall, I was very impressed and very happy with the new door.
In fact, I was so happy with the installation that on the very same day I asked him for an estimate on a new job. For some reason, my house doesn't have access to attic space above my kitchen. So, I asked if he could install a door from my living area upstairs that can lead to that area. I obviously hired him again. Caleb ordered a solid core door and installed it another day. He opened up a hole through the drywall, installed new frame for the door, did all the weather stripping since it's facing attic space. Door and installation cost $600. Again, I am very happy with the installation. I'll definitely hire Caleb for all my future door needs.

"Excellent! I had an emergency; needed the door replaced as fast as possible. Adi completed the work the day after I called. He was professional and thorough, working past 5 on a Saturday. The wood under the threshold was completely rotted. Adi made 3 trips to the local hardware store to get the right materials to replace everything that needed replacing. No shortcuts. When I noticed some gapping the next day, he came right back and made adjustments. The door is seated securely and looks great. Overall, quick, gracious, knowledgeable, and professional. "The work was started on a Friday, but rain interrupted the work. The final two clear coats were done the following Monday afternoon. The door color and wood grain appearance look as good now when it was new. The refinishing process requires that the door be removed and laid out on sawhorses. The work was all done in my front yard. I have a storm door, so no temporary sheeting was necessary. If it had not started raining, the whole process would have been completed in about 6 hours."

"Used them at the recommendation of a friend, to install gutters for two story house. Gutters Worked however when it rained heavy, my flowerbeds got completely flooded due to where the downspout was installed. I called and sent photos to see if maybe I needed additional downspouts installed or relocated to divert the water elsewhere away from my foundation and never got a call back from them. On two separate occasions. Then come to find out from the person who referred them, they responded to him in recent days and continued to do work for him. I guess I will not be using them for further projects if they don’t even respond about the projects they completed. I guess since it’s a small job, maybe it wasn’t worth their time."

"JMG Handyman Services is excellent & I will hire John again for additional work around my home. Communication is great. He listens to what is needed & takes into account any concerns expressed when a job is correcting a problem. He suggested using products available on market to address those issues when appropriate. He was also willing to listen when I had a specific preference about how I wanted finished product to look and made it happen. He was proactive in scheduling and overall was accurate in amount of time he allocated for completing a specific task. And, he respected my time & showed up when he said he would. Below is list of tasks he successfully completed in my home. 1. Installed vinyl plank flooring (LVP) with some challenging angled cuts. Paid attention to the pattern created during installation. Installed transition pieces. 2. Installed new baseboards & trim work. 3. Removed old bathroom vanity & installed new one. 4. Installed new bathroom faucet. 5. Removed old toilet & installed a new one. 6. Corrected plumbing issue under sink in bath. 7. Neatly opened wall & removed a screw used at some point in time to hang a mirror over vanity that had hit an overflow pipe for HVAC system. Replaced damaged section of pipe & completed a small drywall patch. 8. Added waterproof caulking & epoxy on slab before installing new LVP flooring where there was an issue with water coming in before. 9. Replaced an exterior door & trim. 10. Ran a new PEX line for cold water through attic & wall to an existing tub. 11. Hung a surface mounted medicine cabinet/mirror."
