"Dean and his team did in excellent job in installing my NEW HVAC system. I had been nursing my old system for the last couple of years. I finally went to the most trusted HVAC company that have worked with for years. The new system chills my first floor down in minutes. I should have done this sooner. Thanks for the all the folks that did the work and the professional staff in the front office and Sales."

"I called two hours later they are at my door. James told me what the charge would be. Compared to others it was great. James did the work while I was asking thousands of questions and I am very happy with the results. "

"I am VERY disappointed in my experience, even though it started out positively. Justin, the sales rep, was very helpful and I paid my deposit right after Christmas. However the customer service since it was installed has been less than optimal. The system has now shut down 3 times. I paid almost $12K for it. Este's says that the manufacturer has to send someone out to upgrade the computer. No one can tell me when that will be. Unacceptable."

"This service provider was horrible to work with. Was hired through my home warranty company. Didn?t show up for my scheduled appointment. Ignored my calls and then canceled my service call. When I called the following day, Danielle placed me on hold, twice, for over 30 minutes. I would never do business with Rashad?s. My first experience with this company was terrible. Never again! "

FAQs for heat pump repair or service projects in Smyrna, GA

Heat pumps move air to cool or warm your home during different seasons. In cold weather, they extract heat from the outdoors and bring it inside to warm your home. In warm weather, they remove heat from your home to keep it cool. This efficient heat transfer increases indoor comfort, improves energy efficiency, and reduces the need for additional heating systems.

Replacing a heat pump costs between $4,200 and $7,900. The actual cost depends on the type of heat pump. Geothermal models are the most expensive to replace, with the price of the unit plus labor ranging between $6,000 and $20,000. Air source models cost between $4,500 and $8,000 to replace, while the replacement costs for a mini split unit run between $1,300 and $8,000.

The average heat pump is designed to last about 14 years, roughly the same as a central air conditioning system (12 to 15 years). Newer models can last 20 years or more. How long your heat pump lasts depends on how frequently you use it and whether you perform routine maintenance like annual tuneups.
