"Overhead Door sent out a representative within 2-3 days of contacting them for an estimate. The representative was knowledgeable, very friendly and also saved us money by suggesting that we keep our existing garage door hardware, track and remote, as they were still in good working condition. I went to the Overhead Door facility on Riverside St./Portland to see the doors available in their showroom. They required a deposit to order the doors. Approximately 6 weeks later, the installation took place. They removed the 2 doors, repaired the existing tracks (now the tracks work better and look much sleeker) installed the new doors, re-programmed our existing car remotes, and walked us through the work that he had completed. I strongly recommend this company.

"I've worked with many craftsmen in my life ... some that were highly skilled, but short on personality, and some that were all personality, but the job just failed to please. Daddy & Junior has got both of these items wrapped up in a beautifully painted package. Rodolpho Galo, the owner, has charisma, energy and knowledge of his trade. He had a way of making us know they would be doing a great job before they even started. He had great suggestions on color and this ultimately, was right on. He even delayed the start date by one day when I told him my floor guy finished late. And this was his suggestion, not mine! When they did an amazing job, I was not surprised. Rodolpho and two of his top notch staff, Jose and Nelson, were there every day, working very hard, repairing defects, paying close attention to detail, and even making additions in response to my requests without hesitation. They cleaned and swept the whole house afterwards. They are very customer service oriented. Our job was fairly large and they worked long days every day, not uncommonly till after 6 p.m. and one night even to 9 p.m., yet still had a smile and small talk for me afterwards. These gentlemen were not only excellent painters, but were very easy to be around. I enjoyed them and am surprised to say I'm a bit sad it's over! I'll miss seeing them every day. The pricing really couldn't be beat. Rodolpho could charge much more for the quality of the job. This team is something special! I would recommend them for any paint job, inside or out, and have not a single doubt you'll be as thrilled as I am! Thank you Rodolpho, Jose, Nelson and even the other two that you brought over for back up. You guys rock!!"

"Brandon and his crew are fantastic! My wife and I are totally satisfied with his job. We did a total makeover of our kitchen and pantry, about 300 square feet total. Job included gutting to the studs, wiring, plumbing, insulation, blueboard & plaster, painting, cabinet install, custom shelving in pantry and bookcase, hardwood floor repair and refinishing. All of Brandon's subcontractors were quality people as well. Brandon made a schedule ahead of time, and held to it, even when other contractors (countertop install) threw 'monkey wrenches' into the schedule. This is very important to you when you are eating off of a hot plate!
From start to finish, Brandon communicated everything very clearly and responded promptly to any calls or emails.
No major project goes without minor glitches, but Brandon stood behind his commitment at every turn, and made sure every part of the job was up to our very high standards.
He handled all the paperwork and permitting with the town seemlessly.
His price was very reasonable, significantly less expensive than other quotes, yet his work was top-notch.
I would not hesitate to recommend Superior K&B to anyone for their project.

"The work completed we excellent and the installers were professional and thorough.  The only thing preventing an all "A's" review was some scheduling/responsiveness mishaps - bought off a deal that was fully subscribed, so it took a little longer than I expected to get the new doors installed.  In the end though, work was done well, and I am very happy with the overall product.

"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"Signed the contract in April, door finally installed in October.  Wrong color door was shipped from company in Ohio, and I can accept that, but the lack of communication that followed from June to October and how often I had to contact Vista to get an update on where the project stood was unacceptable. I felt I was bugging them and finally had to speak to the owner to get anyone to answer any of my questions. Even the day the door install was finally booked, the storm door was unavailable as it got loaded on someone else's truck and was miles away from our house on that given day.  The actual contractors that installed the door were professional and did good work - the communication from anyone above them was horrible. 
I had to contact Provia to ask for directions on how to use the storm door and the latch on the handle on the door sticks, so I have finally taken to spraying WD-40 on a brand new door latch.   This after waiting more than a week for Vista to reply to my request for further information on both.  To date - I have not had a response from Vista.
I have notes on how often I have contacted this company and how long it has taken to get a response.  Today I got a form letter survey including a offer for a $25 gas card for a review on Angies List, the BBB or liking them on Facebook. I kind of doubt I'll be getting that.
I hate giving bad reviews, but I chose this company due to reviews on Angie's List and could not have been more disappointed and feel people need to hear my experience. The only reason I did not give them a "F" is because I liked the people who actually did the work and the Provia door looks to be a beautiful door.  I have shared all of this with the owner of the company in a written letter directly to him.  All it would have taken was for someone at this company to flag our job order when the first error occurred and to follow it through and make sure communication to the customer was timely and accurate. This so easily could have been a good review.  It's a shame.
