"We had high expectations of quality, simply from Dan’s efficient, detailed quote, along with verbal, email and texts communications, and followup brochures. Matt and Bill kept in constant contact for scheduling and measuring. We had to postpone due to rains and high winds a couple of times, but the crew actually rescheduled for Memorial Day as the weather broke. Rick’s four-man crew arrived at 9:00 sharp, introduced everyone, and immediately remeasured every window, checking against the new ones in the truck, and then staged them all inside. Six hours later they had torn out, replaced, loaded our old sashes and frames into their box truck, and completely caulked 15 of the 26 windows. Arriving early the next morning, they immediately had three windows out in our front room, and seven hours later were completely cleaned up, with every piece of exterior trim custom cut, installed and perfectly caulked. Clean up inside and out was immaculate. They were as efficient, polite, well mannered, conversational and conscientious crew that we’ve had in our house. Dan and his Zen Windows TEAM is FIVE STAR. "I called Smith & Rogers and left a message requesting an estimate for removing existing tile and replacing it with another floor tile also installing one full wall of mosaic tile all in our powder room. I received a timely response to set up an appointment. Bill came out and gave us an estimate which we accepted. He was very professional and very nice to work with. Dan Rogers and his helper Dave arrived on time and immediately started doing the work. They laid the tile and returned the next day completing the grout. They did am excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day. After a day or two, I could see a haze or film on some of the floor tiles. I called Dan to ask for his advice as to what to use to help clean it. Dan said they would return and take a look. He and Dave returned and applied a solution that took care of the problem. We are delighted with our completed powder room and will be calling Smith & Rogers again soon to replace our existing shower."

"Have worked with Jeremy and Larry at 1st Security for a few months now and they're great. They're far more responsive than any other alarm company I've worked with and they're focused on meeting your needs, versus endlessly trying to get you to buy more services and sensors that you might not need. In the house I just bought some other alarm company had installed a window open/close sensor on a window that doesn't open - probably fooling the prior senior citizen owners to pay more for more equipment they didn't need. I rest assured that 1st Security would never do something so foolish and greedy. They're good, honest people, and this is something that's unfortunately hard to find in the alarm business. I recommend them."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"We had been on the schedule with a contractor from Home Depot, but they cancelled and were not able to reschedule for weeks (we had already waited a few weeks since our purchase for material to arrive).  We were in the process of moving into a new home and were waiting for this job to be completed.  When we called Tom of Capital Flooring, it was 2 days before Thanksgiving.  He came out that night and assessed the situation, pointed out that their must have been a mis-measure with the previous contractor as the amount of flooring we had was not sufficient to complete the space.  He had some other jobs in progress, but was not working on them on Thanksgiving or the weekend that followed, so made himself available and took on our project.  He completed everything with the flooring we had and then promptly returned to finish the rest once we had received the necessary materials.  He selected and purchased some necessary trim parts that we did not have.  He also agreed to assemble some new dining furniture for us that had arrived during the flooring process (I was quite thankful for this, having been totally exhausted of all the "kit assemblies" that coincided with preparing the new home).  Additionally, we had had someone else install some carpeting a week prior and then one of the bedroom doors would not shut...Tom cut the door appropriately so that it was no longer in conflict with the carpet, re-hinged it and all was well.  
We were very thankful to Tom for his promptness in meeting with us, his ability and willingness to take on our job over a holiday on short notice (one of the days he was working, his mother came by to have lunch with him--we were not at the house, I was just stopping by and met her.  we thought this relationship was nice to see, but felt some guilt that he was working on a weekend that most people were not), and his straightforward and thorough approach.  The quality of his work was outstanding and we would absolutely hire him for future projects and will refer him to everyone!  He was outstanding!  Thank you Tom!"

"Met with Pat Jewell in our home who presented suggestions for materials and complimentary colors.  Work was done per schedule. Workers were respectful of our home.  Did excellent job of tiling shower with decorative design that gives it an upscale improvement look..  Did work within cost estimate.  Installed  toilet topper. Replaced sinks and cabinet. Installed new flooring.  Always told us when they would arrive and  when finished each day cleaned up the space.  Covered our steps with protective plastic.  Kept our outside door shut.

"Great! Professional, polite, responsive and interested in getting the job done right. Painted interior (walls, doors, trim) of great room, office, laundry room, downstairs & upstairs hallways. Done in 5 days. Looks great and they always dleaned up after themselves. Moves some furniture when needed (we did some moving to get the space ready but they did plenty themselves). Jim is easy to work with and pleasant to be around. His employee Ben was focused and a very hard worker. Would hire again & cannot recommend enough."
