Since both the furnace & AC were original, I asked for an estimate to replace both. Joe's estimate was very fair given I had an estimate earlier in the year for just the AC. "I got several quotes for a new HVAC system. The prices were fairly close, but Horizon Services included replacing my refrigerant lines. My basement is finished, so this was somewhat difficult. They started the next business day at 7:00am and had the system running by 6:00pm. The installation was very neat and professional and they installed new refrigerant lines and a new outside air intake without cutting any holes in the basement ceiling. I kept my humidifier, since it was almost new, and they had difficulty getting it to work. However, they promptly sent out another technician who was able to quickly diagnose and repair the problem."
