"My husband and I wanted to build a new 3 season porch to replace our deck that failed. We interviewed 3 companies to perform the work. We choose Durable Remodeling. Dean Willette discussed the project taking the time to understand what were the key aspects of the project. He then discussed the options that were available to so we were able to make informed decisions throughout the process. The quote was very competitive. Since the deck would cover the outside entrance to our basement a trapdoor needed to be built into the floor. The drawings our architect drew had a spot for the door but the design would have been too heavy to open. Dean designed the door so it was both structurally sound and functional. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and professional. The team showed up when committed, the team was knowledgeable and respectful. I always had a way to get in touch with someone to discuss any concerns I may have. When the work finished my house looked fabulous! The work was top notch. During one of the walkthroughs with the crew and the town inspectors, the inspector stopped in to tell me what a good job the team was doing. We really appreciated that. "Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Reached out to get our roof replaced after some storm damage earlier this year and Dan Casieri got back to me immediately and was able to fit us into their schedule quickly! Dan and his son James came by for an estimate and surprisingly two days later their team came to replace our roof. Took them two days to complete both sides of the house. Highly recommend! Will be using them for other repairs soon."

"It took a month to come out, but he answered all of the questions that we had. His prices were reasonable. He did it nickel and dimes. He was very responsive. When we had a problem he would come out right away or he would send somebody that in authority that work form because he has like a general form and that kind of handle some of the jobs. A lot of crews are foreign born and English is not their first language, but he always made sure that he had one person on the crew that spoke good English and he made sure that we were introduced to each other then we could go to them.  On our roofing, it was $16,750 I guess for the price and then on the windows it was $27,700 and they were the same windows that Simon Brothers had proposed, same brand of windows so we were comparing apples to apples. We got the roofing done probably in October last fall. It was a different crew that did the windows. The windows we finalized everything in October. There was just a lot of little details about how you're going to handle it, how you're going to handle that. But the windows they started in December and I want to say they finished the last bit of it probably in the beginning of February. There was a lot windows, 29. When there were something that we were questioning or that we weren't too happy about that he would come and resolve the issue right away. He was very responsive, very professional and very personable. My husband is so happy with them that we are going to start a garage addition this fall, and he didn't even ask for a price ahead of time or even considered getting another price. He just said, "We'll call Brian and we'll work out with him how we are going to do this". Plus, on the roofing, they were so neat about it. They were very neat and very respectful of the spaces and everything, but the roofing, they did such a neat clean job cleaning it up. I know it was a little hard because it was snowing on the ground that time, that our neighbors across the street said, "We really like them. Who did your roofing? We're going to call them". It was noticeable how they tried to accommodate us in any way that they could. We were very happy with them. We are going to use them in the future."

"The windows were manufactured earlier than we expected and we were promptly contacted about installation. Although we were told the installation was scheduled for two days, the four man crew that arrived was able to finish in a single day! Each window was installed with the same consistency in quality and efficiency. Furthermore, the crew did an excellent job protecting our floors and furnishings in every room. When it comes to evaluating the installation crew, we couldn't be happier. Regarding price, we probably paid more than we should, but that's on us. We advise getting several other quotes first and then get Castle's quote. This will definitely help in your negotiating. The windows have definitely helped to eliminate draftiness in our home and helped to maintain a consistent temperature."
