"It went really well. Robert Carroll really knows his stuff. Hire this guy. I say that without reservation of any kind. Don't look any further, believe me, I did. This is the smartest guy. He is honest, dependable, offers fair pricing, and his team can do all the work. I got several estimates from A+ rated insulation companies, but Robert was more knowledgeable than the other companies. He was the only one to point out that my soffits were not vented. Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. The attic fan could run all day, but without air to move, it would not do any good. Only Robert noticed this and offered a solution to fix the problem! I asked some of the other A+ companies if they would vent the soffits and they all said they don't do that work, but they would be happy to add more insulation, which would not fix the problem if the attic was not vented."

Joe explained the entire process to me, while the crew blocked off all the vents, tested my system (I had 40% leakage) and then applied the Aeroseal to my ductwork. The sealing brought that figure down to just 3% and that was before Danny caulked the gaps between the vents and the drywall before replacing the grilles. (I can actually hear a difference in the airflow when the heat comes on.) All three guys were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and meticulous in their prep and cleanup. "I am very impressed and extremely satisfied with the professionalism, expertise, competence, and customer orientation the whole Perma-Seal team displayed during recent work completed on sidewalk leveling and basement sealing projects on my home. Work scope, costs, and timing were explained patiently and in detail by George Heller up front. The sidewalk leveling work from Doro went routinely, everything on time with excellent results. The basement sealing work was a bit trickier, as electrical wires and a pipe bundle all bunched together around the main sewer line provided multiple leak paths and required a second attempt to completely resolve. Doro, Ramon, and Waldo went beyond the originally contracted scope to ensure all potential leak paths were sealed off. They didn?t care what the contract said, their focus was on my complete satisfaction, no excuses, no shortcuts. "This is the most negligent contractor I've dealt with in my life. They suggested to not be home for our attic insulation since we have a newborn at home which I appreciated. They seemed careful and thoughtful in the sales process which is why I ended up picking them for our project. However, when it came time for the job they were reckless with security and safety. Before the job I sent multiple notes via text and email, and had a phone call asking them to contact me at the end of each day so I could set the alarm and lock the doors remotely. Day one they didn't do this. I sent another ask to please be mindful of this so I could keep our home secure. Day 2 they did not do this again, and ended up leaving our front door wide open which triggered a burglar alarm at 2am requiring us to deal with the security company and police throughout the night. Afterwards it took days for anyone to reply. They lacked empathy or ownership for how negligent their team was. I would not recommend working with these people. Mistakes happen, but the response to these mistakes was almost as bad as their dangerous actions themselves."

"Bob, the owner, was a great listener and made sure that he understood my problem before proposing a solution. He has the latest technology and could clearly identify where I was losing heat and knew exactly what needed to be done to resolve my issues. He wanted me to look in the attic so that I could observe that the work was done as he committed. He was very conscious about prepping my home, my carpet and protecting his work areas so that no dirt came into my house while he was bringing his equipment in and out. He was also a very good communicator and did the work in a timely manner."

"We hired J L Contractor Services to put a new roof on our garage, including new gutters/downspouts, and repair a section of aluminum facia on the house. Jack came out and gave us a fair bid for the work. His crew arrived when he said they would, promptly got started, were polite/no excessive noise above what's expected with doing the work, and left the premises swept and free of debris. Overall they did a great job. They had to replace several sections of plywood and the wood replacement work inside the garage, exterior shingle and gutter work, and facia repair all look great. I think we have the best looking garage roof on the block! I would definitely use this company again."
