"Gus (owner) came out to provide an estimate. He was in the attic for about a half hour looking over the space so that a complete estimate could be provided. Several weeks later Gus came out and added blown in fiberglass insulation which made the area an R-60. While Gus insulated the attic, he took pictures on his cell phone and showed me the completed work."

He is honest, dependable, offers fair pricing, and his team can do all the work. Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. "It went fairly well. The man in charge of giving estimates gave me confidence. The man in charge of the work was a bit of a fast talker, however. I have waited over a year to finish this review b/c I wanted to wait until I got door into the porch from the house and for cold weather to see how well the insulation works. I do not have a heat vent on the porch. Was hoping the insulation along with a small electric heater would keep it warm. The contractor thought it would be okay without a heating vent. For most part it is, but with very cold weather, the porch gets pretty cold. I may have been hoping for more than was realistic and may eventually get a larger electric heater or get a vent from my furnace if I decide to use the room more regularly."

"Our home is a colonial about 50 years old, and the sad aluminum siding on the second floor was showing its age. I contacted four siding firms for quotes. All but one on Angie’s List, and all were rated highly. We settled on Professional Home Improvement not because of price, but because of the detail and depth of knowledge with which Mal Graifman presented in his proposal. The job involved siding, soffit and fascia, new gutters with leaf guards and oversize downspouts. In his walk-around, Mal noted that we had insufficient venting in the eves, and too few downspouts for the length of gutter runs. Old ornamental iron columns were replaced with load bearing square columns, and a new insulated steel garage service door was installed. Although we did not discuss it, Mal’s team redid the aluminum capping on the first floor windows and added aluminum trim around entry doors. Mal’s philosophy was not to shortcut on the appearance of the home. Mal’s craftsmen worked tirelessly and always with concern for the neighbors. Every particle of scrap was removed at the end of each workday. Mal periodically checked their progress and quality of their work, so there were never any fire drills or questions about what needed to be done. I was so impressed with the quality of the job, I gave each installer a case of beer during final cleanup as a gesture of thanks. It all comes down to the notion that if you are going to invest in the appearance and functionality of your home, do it right the first time. "Great.  Professional and friendly installers. Discussed all installation plans before starting.  At no extra charge removed unnecessary duct work, replaced water and gas shutoff valves and outdoor fuse panel.  When finished they cleaned up so well you could not tell they were there."

"Installed insulation the next day after the quote was submitted. Left the home clean to the point that I could not tell they were there. Added attic rulers per my request and did some additional things like removed a none used phone line at no extra charge. Terry seemed very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all questions that I asked."

"Nick was a great service provider and also gave us good advice along the way.  While we were hoping that he'd be able to fix our old dryer, when we realized that was not going to happen, he gave us recommendations on the best brands of dryers in his experience, and what to look for when buying a dryer (which was similar to what I had found in Consumer Reports as well).  He even had a recommendation for a salesperson at our local ABT store who was able to help us quickly purchase and deliver our new dryer.  Then Nick was able to come in and do a quick and complete install.  We'll definitely call him again when we have other appliance repair needs."
