Benchmark was punctual, and repaired the broken spring on the 16x8 overhead door. informed them that one of the lights was not

working on the opener. They checked it out and repaired the socket. Greased and adjusted all doors. They were very professional

and the total job did not take them more than one hour.

"J&J came out to replace my broken garage door spring at a convenient time and reasonable price. I am very satisfied with efficient work."

"Shotty work from another contractor from the previous owners of this house left us with leaky windows a few weeks after we moved in. When I called them to revisit their work, it was clear they had no idea what they were doing.  They never caulked around the windows after putting them back in and did a sloppy job after I called them back over.   I called LDS and even though their schedule was super busy, he squeezed me in the next day to at least take a look at the issue. Ronnie knew right away that they used the wrong caulk.  Since he wasn't able to see what the previous contractors did to the windows, Ronnie caulked around the windows with the proper materials hoping that would resolve the leaking issue.  Had a minor smaller leak several weeks later when the temperatures dropped and Ronnie came back over to touch up weak areas.  So far, we haven't had any more issues but I feel confident that if we did, LDS would come back out to do the necessary repairs.  Great communication and reliable service, would definitely call again.

"It went flawlessly. Their sales rep came out promptly when agreed upon, followed up right away with cost options, and the work was installed exactly as expected and on time. Our existing garage door operator even worked better (meaning quieter) when they were done! A reliable company, good product, good service. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either - but worth it, I think."

"Next Door and Window easily exceeded my expectations. We had a front door and sidelight replacement and a Bay window replacement. The removal was done with great care and the new installation was seamless. Both the window and door crew's were neat, speedy and obviously experienced. I would highly recommend them."

"The R&S on-time estimate was done at the same time as the garage door inspection. The price was very competitive. Unlike another bid, R&S did not need to reframe my 50 year old doorway. Communications were easy with the company owner Russ. The work began a few days later, and I didn't have to wait weeks for the new door as required by another door company. Dale, the expert installer, had the old door out and the new door installed within 6 hours. He made some adjustments quickly at my request. Overall, an excellent company to do business with."

"These folks were the first honest company I talked to in my search for 1) assessing whether any repair was needed, and 2) what it would need to be. Companies were going door to door in my neighborhood, trying to sell everyone the fantasy of "There were storms here ergo we can make your insurance redo all your siding for free!" I'm glad I talked to Professional Home Improvement as well; they helped me not to fall into the other companies' trap of lodging insurance claims for unnecessary repairs."

" Installed 16 windows in June 2013.  Almost 4 years later (Jan., 2017) one of the windows cracked.  Called Albar and sent a text photo of the cracked window.  They said it was a pressure crack and ordered a replacement from the factory.  They called me when it was ready.  I picked it up. They showed me how to remove the damaged window and put in the new one.  It was very simple even for a woman in the 60s with no construction experience (although you can have it done for you for a service fee).  I popped out the old one and popped in the new one.  No Charge.  This company is there for you even long after the sale is completed."

"First off, everyone we've dealt with has been professional, friendly, and courteous. We liked the reviews we saw in Angie's List and Murphy's installed a new sliding door for us in Nov 2014. One of our requests was it be "lightweight" and easy to slide. Well, it didn't seem that way when it was installed, but we were told to give it some time to loosen up. Nope. Still heavy and hard to open and close... 3+ years later. Next problem was the screen door with it. In Spring 2015 (when we needed it, since the door was installed in the winter), the screen door continuously came off its track. Don came out to fix it ("right") and it almost lasted until the end of the season. I spoke with Jimmy Murphy who runs the place... again, super nice and super friendly... but when I reached him to help... lots of delays, promises, etc. I kept putting it back on the track myself for short-term fixes. I called/texted in the Fall 2017 to have it fixed or replaced... no response. Called/Texted again in Spring 2018 and was told someone would be out to take care of it. No one. Another call and text promising to be there "next Tuesday." Nothin. I've had enough. Well meaning group, but lacks follow-through and, apparently, the ability to keep customers happy/satisfied. Hard to imagine that 20 minutes of their time and/or possibly $10-50 in parts will cost them my future business and possibly the loss of others' business (after reading this). Won't use again...."

"It was corrected very fast and the garage door is behaving like when it was new. House of Doors is a great asset to our community."
