"Let me say that I purchased the deal of 4 hours for $179. Galen went and purchased the light fixtures and wood for the door and we had an additional 2 hours so that's why the total was $587. Galen arrived with his crew and they went to work. I am so pleased with everything they did. I am thrilled to have found Keenan Handyman Services and will definitely call them again. I am looking to have them install a garage door opener, paint the interior of my house and add on to my deck. "During a day when everyone in Pittsburgh was having a leak, they were the only ones to call me back. They came that afternoon to stop the leak and rip out the small area of dry wall. They replaced the part of the roof that needed to be fixed within a week and also repaired the affected area inside the house within a week. I had to call them a few times to remind them to come back to finish the work, but the owner was very sick, so he had a good reason. The job was reasonably priced and they did an A+ job. Highly recommend.

"Have worked with Jeremy and Larry at 1st Security for a few months now and they're great. They're far more responsive than any other alarm company I've worked with and they're focused on meeting your needs, versus endlessly trying to get you to buy more services and sensors that you might not need. In the house I just bought some other alarm company had installed a window open/close sensor on a window that doesn't open - probably fooling the prior senior citizen owners to pay more for more equipment they didn't need. I rest assured that 1st Security would never do something so foolish and greedy. They're good, honest people, and this is something that's unfortunately hard to find in the alarm business. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"V & J Contracting & Roofing was one of 8 companies that I contacted to get quotes to build a deck off my back porch to the pool we had installed in the fall the year before. Being the 1st time we needed to hire a professional to come in for a major build we were quite nervous. Jason came out to site the deck and take measurements. I felt good after meeting him personally. My wife and I were happy with the quote. Jason was very quick to return any call ore text I sent him. I was at work the week they worked on my deck and my wife was at home. Everyone there was considerate and treated my family nice. The deck come out beautiful and was exactly as we wanted. The only negative thing with the deck experience was something that was not in the control of any one and it was the rain that pushed the build back, however Jason was in contact with us and we were kept informed of this and all.
