"The heat pump was making a loud noise every now and then, but it didn't make the noise when the technician was here! He thought it might be happening during the defrost cycle, but was unable to determine cause due to not hearing it while he was here. He did check various fluid levels and looked inside to see if something was hitting the fan, but found all OK. Although I had to pay the trip charge, the technician told me that no trip charge would be assessed on the next visit when I hear the noise again and have another technician out. He told me to video and record the sound when I hear it again, so I can play it for the next technician in case the noise does not occur during the technician's visit. This technician was very nice, on time, and professional. Stan's Heating and Air is a great company."
