Although I typically prefer paying by the job instead of by the hour, Bob was quite focused on his work and use of time. I will be asking him to return in the spring to complete a few additional repairs and install a storm door."

We called a few contractors to get estimates, John called us back in a timely manner while the others either didn't call back or waited a week or longer. We looked at that as to say US Home Improvement is serious about their business and about our time. John and his son both came to speak with us and give an estimate. John knows his stuff and his knowledge and confidence put us at ease. When they started work, they started when they said they would and finished in a week. They worked Saturday and Sunday! We added a few extras to our plans, an extra outdoor light, new front door with more "presence" and we asked them to "do something with the ugly deck pillars" We didn't know what could be done but, they did. Our front door and deck look great. John was always available to take calls and answer questions. Again we are thrilled with the workmanship and any other aspect you could think of. People have stopped their cars to tell how nice the house looks. We will hire them for any other work we do. I can't recommend them enough!"

"Rodolfo was responsive and able to provide a quote quickly. While Rodolfo's quote was not the least expensive, he worked with us to reduce the scope of the job to better suit our budget. We ended up painting the full living room and foyer, dining room, and one office wall; two bathrooms; and some trim/casings on internal doors, windows, and closets. Rodolfo also improved the improperly installed molding and sanded down a newly built wall in order to paint it - it now looks like the wall was always there. Before the work began, Rodolfo quickly confirmed a start date and arrived promptly as scheduled. He and his team (Jose and Wilson) were able to complete this medium-sized job in only two (long) work days, including full clean-up. They were friendly, helpful, and very customer service-oriented. There was one minor miscommunication about whether the quote had included molding in the living room, and Rodolfo agreed to paint it right away. They also plastered some small holes in the walls and install new bathroom towel and toilet tissue fixtures at no extra charge. The painting looks clean and fresh, and has made a major difference in the appearance of our new home. We would work with Rodolfo and his team again."

"Joe Wink of The Siding Guy worked with his crew of two and completed the job in two days, exactly as estimated, an enormous improvement in both time and quality over a similar job by another contractor. They were able to recover and reuse the interior trim, saving on materials costs. The windows required about three+ months to order, and then another few weeks after a scheduling error delayed the installation, but all went smoothly at install. Joe and his crew were capable, conscientious, and professional."

"We were so happy with the kitchen and master bathroom remodel that Todd did for us that we hired him again to remodel our downstairs bathroom. Todd gutted the old bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt the floor in order to remove water damaged boards from a prior leak as well as accommodate the new curb less shower pan. Todd was very thoughtful and had some good design & layout suggestions and helped us work thru other challenges like how to route/hide things we didn’t think of such as vent pipes. Todd found and installed new window trim and doors that also closely matched the rest of the house to help maintain consistency throughout. He installed new tile on the floor, shower walls, and subway tile halfway up all the remaining walls. All of the lines were perfect again and he did a fantastic job. We have received many compliments on the bathroom and are thrilled with how it turned out. Todd is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him and his work."

"AJF Construction did an excellent job. The two people who worked on our project, one of whom is the owner, were professional, honest, easy to work with, and very meticulous in the quality of their work. One major part of the project required the disassembly, cleaning, repair and replacement of floor-to-ceiling screens in a screened-in porch. This was custom-built, so each panel only fit its original location, and disassembly was complicated by some settling of the porch. They did a beautiful job on it, and did not paint over any hardware, so the next time it needs fixing it will be easy to do so. The quotes were detailed and there were no cost overruns. They did a great job on everything, kept us informed as the work progressed, and left the site cleaner than it was when they started. We were very impressed. We recently hired them again to replace a slide glass door. They did a wonderful job on that too."
