We heard some critters that had gotten into our attic and called immediately (late on a Monday evening), and John came to our home on Tuesday to assess the situation. He showed up when he said he would, was honest in his assessment and we felt that he quoted a very fair price for the work that his team completed. They started with work quickly, took great care with our home (there was no evidence of any work debris left behind at the end of each day), the teams showed up when they said they would, everyone was pleasant, worked efficiently and with a super level of quality. They resolved this issue quickly! In a week, they removed our old insulation, all pests were gone, sanitized, replaced damaged trim/wood siding and painted, and replaced all of the insulation. "Lance was great from the start, friendly and professional. He was our first bid and after 3 other bids we went with Rhino. We appreciated his responsiveness and we felt at ease knowing he was handling all the details. I am a stay at home mom and having workers in your home for two days is never fun, but Lance made sure they were inside minimally making my experience better. Lance was also responsive to my call after the job and he has some slight repairs to make because of the natural wear and tear process on a section of our ceiling. He is coming next week to complete repairs.

"Contacted energy attic usa for information on their products and received an abundance of help from two very kind and friendly people- Kent and Amy.  They are a husband and wife team that take great pride in what they do, the american made products that they use, and in customer satisfaction.  I had many questions that related to my existing air conditioning unit and ductwork and Kent was more than happy to answer ALL of my questions!  I had originally planned to be home on the day of the scheduled install, but an emergency came up with one of their employees and so they had to reschedule the work at my house.  I was not happy because I wanted to be at home when the work took place and could not take off from work.  Kent understood and gave me his word that he would stay at my house and oversee the work until everything was completed.   Overall, I was very happy that I used this company and would recommend them to anyone else.  They displayed quality work and to my delight- left all the areas where they had worked clean!  Cynthia

"The first thing Green Ox's Installers did was ask me questions about my house and what our goals were with our bills.  They told me that we would need two attic ventilators to evacuate all of the hot air.  It was the same price for the second as the first, so we didn't have a problem with that as we knew we had a big house and we wanted to ensure the equipment did the job right.  Then they showed me how the thermal controller's hand-held worked, and how it took temperature readings.  Next, they showed me the attic ventilator and solar panel, which I must say was very, very cool.  Just holding the solar panel was an experience as the fan started as soon as I pointed it at the sun.  Wow!   After that, they ran power cables to the roof and set up the ladder to get busy.  We opted for the optional $100 AC connect which allows us to use house power to evacuate air at night if we desire.  The installation crew made us feel comfortable and were very knowledgeable, answering questions with answers that really made sense.  They even helped us understand how we could save more money on our energy bill with things like solar arrays with battery backups so we can sell energy back to the power company, a wind turbine, or a solar pool pump for our swimming pool.  We were very glad we used them.  We were definitely smarter after spending time with them and will be using them for our home upgrades in the future. 

ps our neighbor came out and asked them to install two on his roof, which they agreed to do at the non-members Angie's list price.  Glad I had the Angies list discount as it saved us a couple hundred dollars.  Thanks Angies list!"

"Excellent.  We had a bit of a surprise in terms of attic access that I thought was present but turned out not to be.  Mr. Upton was able to work around that for a reasonable additional charge, taking apart the fan and running wires to a new switch without having attic access.  Despite the unexpected challenge, the end result is exactly what I had hoped for.  Very pleased.
