Customers say: Quality work

"We lost function of our well pump right before a large snowfall and low temps. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient team helped me diagnose issue over the phone and came out to finalize the diagnosis and replace our well pump in 45 minutes within a day despite terrible road conditions (Level 2 and 3). I can't recommend more!"

"Great technician for a fabulous company. Eco Plumbers fixed a water delivery problem that another company caused by installing an inadequate pump. Over the last winter, and again now, we have sustained hot water for all our needs. The technician was running late due to an unanticipated problem somewhere else. The office called to tell us, to provide a new window of service or a reschedule. We really appreciate that kind of communication. Everything's in good shape."

"Hired Bapst because our pump stopped working. They were quick to respond. The professional was very pleasant and went straight to work. We thought it was the pump, it turned out to be just the tank switch. It had gone out in a storm and it just needed reset. We knew nothing about it. The man showed us how to reset it if it should ever happen again. He also explained everything to us so we could understand and if we need any other well service Bapst is who we will call."

"From the visit from the salesman until the completion from the installers, the job was very professional. The salesman explained every component thoroughly and what will be best for our home, and we excepted the deal from him. Set up a date for installation which was a couple days later, and the installers came out and put all the components in. The installers were very professional and informative on how they were going to replace all the equipment. I would recommend this company. Their price is comparable with other companies dealing with Trane equipment"

"Excellent. We had other projects we wanted done, but they explained to us that installation of these fixtures (and a new outlet) would involved drywall being cut and they wanted us to know this before starting.  We decided this wasn't worth doing.
They arrived for the estimate a few minutes early, and arrived the day to work right on time. Matt did the installation, and he was professional, courteous, neat and clean. He was only there 1/2  a day.

"I wanted to replace 3 old toilets (3.5 gal/flush) with the newer 1.28 gal/flush. Angie's had a deal with The Drain Doctor: $99 for installation of one member-provided toilet. This meant removing the old toilet (100 lbs) and moving it to another location, e.g., end of driveway. The deal also included a new water supply line and a wax ring. I bought 3 new toilets from Home Depot and paid Angie for 3 installations. Tommy, the owner, came on time and completed the 3 toilet installations in about 2 hours. He cleaned up the work areas when he was done. Tommy was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. He made sure there were no leaks. Note that I am 70 yrs old and the 3 old toilets and 3 new toilets are each around 100 lbs. Two of the toilets were on the second floor. It was worth the reasonable cost that Tommy charged to save my back (and also my wife's). Tommy was great and I would call him again."

"The pressure/temperature valve was releasing water thoughout day. PPC checked it out and offered me the choice of replacing just the valve or the water heater. Taking into account the age of the heater, I chose to replace heater (16+ years old). I had received a quote for water heater and labor when I made the service appointment so I knew the cost for this up front. Ball valve leading to water heater was leaking so replaced that also. Everything went well."

"Chuck and Chris installed the type of well pump we asked for. We wanted a direct replacement for the type of pump we had a wellxtroll. Chuck knew right away what we wanted and had so much knowledge and experience with these pumps we decided to go with this company. It took a while to actually get them out as they’re a small company and seems pretty busy but my husband and I are so happy we used them. It’s only been about a week since the install but we got a new well pump installed on n a little over an hour. Chuck and Chris were very knowledgeable and respectful. Our water pressure has improved tremendously thanks to them! I’d recommend Ellsworth if you have a well because of their experience. Like I said it’s only been a week but so far so good! Thank you Chuck"

"

Mr. Stephens was on time and very very polite and courteous.

Mr. Stephens and his associate, moved within the house very professionally to bring in the materials they needed to remove the old sump pump and to install the new one. Then they did a great job in cleaning up. Also Mr. Stephens took time to explain and to demonstrate the new battery backup sump pump answering all my questions and concerns.

Also he helped repair the pipes for the sink and washer and then installed a new shower head.

He was so professional and friendly that he will be the plumber for this house for as long as I live here

He is wonderful.

FAQs for well pump installation and replacement projects in Columbus, OH

Signs that your well pressure tank requires replacement include inconsistent water pressure, your pump turning on and off frequently (known as short cycling), visible leaks around the tank, or unusual noises from your well system. Physical damage, corrosion, or a tank that's reached its seven to 10-year expected lifespan may also indicate it's time for replacement. When multiple issues arise simultaneously, replacement often proves more economical than attempting repairs.

The timeframe for professional well pressure tank replacement varies depending on your specific system and any complications that might arise during installation. Factors that can affect installation time include accessibility of your current tank, whether additional components need replacement, and the complexity of your well system. For precise timing expectations, consult with the professional handling your installation.

Attempting to replace your well pressure tank involves several potential risks, including improper pressure calibration that could damage your pump, contamination of your water supply, and physical injury from handling heavy equipment. Additionally, incorrect installation might lead to water leaks, property damage, or system inefficiency. Many manufacturers also specify that professional installation is required to maintain warranty coverage, making the $125 to $200 professional installation fee a worthwhile investment for most homeowners.
