"Steve is absolutely excellent. I initially had him install new Harvey windows and a new front door and Bay window in my home. They came out great. During our initial conversations, I mentioned I was also looking for a new roof and new deck. He completed both of those jobs as well. I could not be happier with the results. He is always available, and responds to both emails and texts in timely manner. Almost unheard of in the contracting world. We absolutely love our new deck and the roof and windows have really updated our home. It was a pleasure to work with Steve and I will continue to recommend him to family, friends and coworkers."

"At the end of July of 2015, I contacted Dean and Durable Remodeling on Angie's List in need or repairing and replacing the soffit and gutters damaged by squirrels and raccoons on my house. Dean promptly replied to my request and he and I began communicating immediately. Within a few short days he and I were able to schedule a visit to my house and I obtained a quote of $4,400 to pull down the existing soffit, fascia, and gutters and replace with all new vinyl soffit and aluminum gutters and fascia. Dean and I were able to schedule a time that worked perfectly for both of us and the work began in October. Two wonderful gentlemen arrived to work on the house and immediately began the nasty task of removing all of the old soffit, which was covered in animal waste and extremely unpleasant. Both workers were super friendly and worked efficiently throughout the day. Dean came by to visit and check on the work, as well as check in with with me about the project. Every time Dean and I spoke, both in person as well as on the phone, he was an absolute pleasure to work with before, during and even following the project. Unfortunately, once all of the old materials were removed, they discovered a significant amount of structural damage in the framework of the house that had been eaten by the rodents. I had been away that day they discovered this problem, however Dean called me immediately and we discussed the situation. Although the repair was going to cost an additional $2,000, Dean carefully explained to me the options and I was more than happy to have the job done correctly despite the additional cost. The final outcome of the repair was beautiful and the job was completed efficiently and on time. The yard was completely cleared up and all of the waste was removed from the yard. Dean visited once the job was complete and we even chatted about future jobs and work that I would love to have them complete. Dean and I have continued to be in contact since this work was completed and I would most certainly use this company again. Dean and Durable Remodeling are professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Dean replies to my calls and messages immediately and he is always willing to help out. "I've worked with many craftsmen in my life ... some that were highly skilled, but short on personality, and some that were all personality, but the job just failed to please. Daddy & Junior has got both of these items wrapped up in a beautifully painted package. Rodolpho Galo, the owner, has charisma, energy and knowledge of his trade. He had a way of making us know they would be doing a great job before they even started. He had great suggestions on color and this ultimately, was right on. He even delayed the start date by one day when I told him my floor guy finished late. And this was his suggestion, not mine! When they did an amazing job, I was not surprised. Rodolpho and two of his top notch staff, Jose and Nelson, were there every day, working very hard, repairing defects, paying close attention to detail, and even making additions in response to my requests without hesitation. They cleaned and swept the whole house afterwards. They are very customer service oriented. Our job was fairly large and they worked long days every day, not uncommonly till after 6 p.m. and one night even to 9 p.m., yet still had a smile and small talk for me afterwards. These gentlemen were not only excellent painters, but were very easy to be around. I enjoyed them and am surprised to say I'm a bit sad it's over! I'll miss seeing them every day. The pricing really couldn't be beat. Rodolpho could charge much more for the quality of the job. This team is something special! I would recommend them for any paint job, inside or out, and have not a single doubt you'll be as thrilled as I am!
