"I put my home rewiring project out to bid and got the best/most comprehensive bid from Gen 3, and hired them. I paid a 30% deposit as requested and paid the balance at the end of the work on 10/26/2020. Gen 3 sent me text messages well in advance reminding me of the visit. The electrician and his assistant came at the appointed window of time. The electrician said the work would take about six hours. He was impressively accurate. When the work was completed, I used a check list on the description of work and checked the items off as the electrician explained each one with confidence and knowledge. I was especially impressed with his demeanor -- pleasant, cooperative, professional. I am happy to name him here: Gordon Coleman, lead install electrician. His assistant's name was Robert. I found Gen 3 on Angie's List, so you deserve a portion of my praise as well."

"I can't say enough about the team at Old Skool HVAC. I learned of this organization from a close friend who had work done and recommended them. Frank is a great guy. On time, professional, knowledgeable, and his team is a reflection of this as well. They were always on time, on schedule, clean, and very personable. They finished our job a little early, and during the first heat wave just about week or two ago, our house never felt better. Great service, quality, and pricing. It's funny, with central AC, you never really know that it's hot out until you leave the house and come home. It's during this first transition that I realized how quiet and effective of a system that was installed. If you are looking for any form of HVAC work in your home of business, I'd recommend contacting this group of professionals."

"Suggested that I needed a new furnace (because of the age). I don't remember any suggestions to having my chimney checked for any blockages( of which I have now learned later could be the source of my problem) before purchasing a new gas furnace). He did not spend any time talking about what furnaces they sell or installation prices - which was good because I did not feel any pressure to purchase anything). On hindsight, I wished that he had pulled out the burner and checked for any dirty ports, etc. (which the utility company used to do whenever I needed service) as part of the diagnostic labor.) He did spend the time allotted as per the Angie's list deal. I did request an estimate for a new gas furnace of which he provided 2 days later. I must say their response time was excellent - After I paid for the Angie's list deal (on a Saturday-12/10/16), their company called me no more than 15 mins later plus I was able to get an appointment on that Monday (12/12/16)!! The tech/salesperson was polite and professional."

"They did a nice job putting together an efficiency audit and explaining what they'd like to do.  The price wasn't cheap, but they were flexible in detailing the different pieces of the overall bid.
They were a little persistent about closing the deal, but my wife and I had to prioritize finances elsewhere in our new house.  We intend on refreshing the estimate and doing the work sometime in the near future.

What makes this review diffulcut is that I want to give higher marks for the work that was done since we have not had any problems to date but the fact that even after they called to set up one last visit to tie up some remainig concerns they never showed up and this makes it diffulcult to have positive feelings. Questions about the supposedly HOME SURGE PROTECTION system and WARRANTY and how to handle any future issues regarding it have never been explained or paperwork supplied. When it is so hard to reach the boss it creates  an environment of distrust be it real or imagined.

To foam the mudroom they had to drill holes in the brick mortar.  The patches at first didn't look all that well Ed Burke said if the look doesn't improve after drying let me know.  I never had the chance to let him know they still weren't perfect he called me to ask what they looked like.  I said they still looked a little rough.  Thanks I'll take care of it tomorrow.  I came home from work that day and had a hard time seeing where the holes were.  If you need the kind of work done that this company provides, CALL THEM

"I  was very impressed that the serviceman was very professional, friendly and even wore booties to keep my home clean. He took his time to do it right and never felt once that he was trying to sell me a new central A/C unit. I would be the first person to suggest that for honesty and professionalism you can't go wrong by contacting RC. You can also bet that when it becomes time for me to replace my unit, RC will be the first company I call. A very pleasant experience.
