"Needed a replacement key for my vehicle. Blaine Lock and Safe quoted the following pricing: *Service call of $19.99 and a new key charge starting at $95.00. When the technician arrived, the story changed to: *$29.99 for the service call and he disputed that I was quoted $19.99. He quoted $185.00 for the new key and stated that I would not find a better price. I also inquired on the website front page offering a 15% discount for locksmith services, and despite no small print clarifying the discount, he stated that my key was" ineligible" for the discount. I asked several times what made the fob ineligible and he provided only double talk. Next morning - although the fob worked, the small mechanical key inside did not work. I phoned the manager of Blaine Locksmith to receive clarification on pricing misquotes, mechanical key not working, and the website discount was not offered by the technician and disappointment in their service. Despite asking for manager, Blaine Lock & Safe had the original technician phone me to discuss. The conversation between Blaine Locksmith evolved into arguing and that as I did not ask for the 15% discount at the first phone call, the discount would not apply. When I restated dthat the technician said the key fob made the discount ineligible, the technician stood his ground. Furthermore, they were unwilling to clarify pricing misquotes or address concerns, however, this company is willingly happy to argue. Do not use this service"
