"I once read you should find a locksmith before you actually need one. I discovered a few days ago that was good advice. I had just moved and one thing I could not find was my my U-Haul storage space key. The It 10 X 10 foot temperature controlled room stored a chair and dresser which hasn’t been removed because I could not not find the key. After 3 $170 bills, key or no key I was moving out before another payment. Since Angie’s List is now free so I chose 3 locksmiths, asked for a call back the First company to return my call (within minutes) meet all my requirements: 1. I had to vacate by 5:30 that day or pay for another $175 month, 2. It was already 1:30 PM and I needed a locksmith by 3:30 PM 3. I wanted the lowest cost possible for a professional job, * The first callback was best from a company called «911 Locksmith Security» Paying $175 for unneeded space to due to a lost key had to end. The last day I could move out, I decided to find a locksmith that could open the lock by 3:30 PM so I could be out by 5:30. 1. Angie’s List was the first company I tried I where I the best price, service by 3:30, and $80 fee (later reduced to $70), 2. They kept me up to date on their estimated arrival, 3. My locksmith literally followed me in at precisely 30:30, 4. I had fastened the cylinder lock it with the key’s hole at the most difficult angle of attack, 5. I saved $100 in minutes. There was no transportation charge or other surprised. Just $70 to open my lock. This was my first time using a locksmith and everything exceeded my expectations. I now have a trusted locksmith in case the need arises again. My locksmith’s name was Fernando Tejada – extremely friendly, polite, accommodating, quick, well trained, 100% professional locksmith. He called 30 minutes before arrival and confirmed he’d be on time (and was, to the second). The U-Haul Manager watched and admitted to being impressed as well. "I've actually used Firehouse Locksmiths 3 times now.. First was to replace / repair a deadbolt. Bruce fixed the existing deadbolt and I was able to return the new dead bolt I had bought. Second time was to replace the lower regular door knob/lock on an exterior door. The lock had jammed and would not budge. Bruce was able to unjam the lock and replace the intern parts. The next time he came to replace a deadbolt and rekey it to match my existing key.  Each time Bruce was right on time and the work was done well and the charges were reasonable.  <br /> I recommend Firehouse Locksmiths to everyone I know.  They are first class all the way. <br />"
