"Bill is an exceptional locksmith. Had never used him before, but looked up reviews on his business on Angie's List and was very impressed with what I read. I called him and thought for sure it would more expensive than having him come on a weekday, but it was not. He arrived exactly when he said he would. People such as him are hard to find in this day and age. Bill knows his craft very well and gave me very good advice on other things. Never made me feel like I was bothering him when I asked him questions and answered any and all concerns I had. I now only have to worry about using one key for indoor and outside doors for front and back instead of fumbling for more than one key. It is refreshing to know that there are people such as him that do such good work and are not out just for the almighty dollar, but truly care about helping people. His pricing is very reasonable, he comes when he says he'll be there and does very, very good work. Cleaned everything up when the job was completed. Made extra keys for me and gave me a senior citizen discount. There are many businesses and employees that could learn a lot from Bill as far as how to run a business and how to treat your customers. I hope he is around for a very long time. People like him are hard to find. I will definitely call him and only him when I need locksmith services. "We needed a couple of locks rekeyed. We were able to make an appointment for the next week and the locksmith arrived at the time scheduled. He worked steadily and had the work done in no time. There was a problem with the credit card reader so we provided a check for the service. But the credit card went through anyway. Locksmith mailed back our check and a receipt so very good follow-up. I would hire again."

"We had a lock fail that secured the side door to our garage. I called a couple different locksmiths before L&U but they were too busy to come out. Could only schedule for a week from the time I called. Jake of L&U was in the Madison area when I called and offered to stop over as soon as he finished with a customer. He gave me an estimated time and showed up at that time. <br /> He removed the damaged lock and determined it was under lifetime warranty. We set up a time for him to come back and put in the new lock.  He contacted the manufacturer and obtained the lock. He showed up on time as scheduled. He made some minor adjustments to prevent the lock from future damage. <br /> This guy is good. He understands customer service. Told me what I needed to know about the lock and what he did. On time. Cleaned up the area when he finished. I would definitely use him again. <br />"

"Pros - The scheduling went smoothly (though there was a bit of a miscommunication in the cons section). Re-Keying the house proceeded in under two hours. Max arrived in a mask and was respectful for distancing. When the job was done, they took payment over the phone (since I had to run to work). Reasonable price for professional work. Called me to clarify where to leave the keys instead of making any assumptions. Cons The only thing that knocked them down from being a full A was in scheduling. The person I spoke with mentioned that they would "be there between 9 and 10 am". The problem there is the ambiguity in the statement. Being there can mean arriving, as well as the entirety of the period in which a person would need to be at the house. When I was called to clear up the final location of the keys, I provided the same feedback, which they received very well, and mentioned would be passed on to the team."

"I would highly recommend Tony. He and his staff are very professional, punctual and work to get the things done time and on budget. He won't be the cheapest bid that you get, but I think his price is fair for the quality of work that is performed. He and his staff handled all of our subcontractors for the kitchen remodel and energy efficiency improvements. We love our new kitchen and the improvements that made our home more efficient and comfortable to live in. In short, I don't think you could find a more trustworthy, honest, professional and talented contractor in the Madison area. "Their prices were competitive and they were personable enough. The guy who came did a very nice job, he did exactly as expected. What is odd however is that locksmith come to your house in his personal car and he is not wearing any company identities but he was on time and did the job that he is supposed to do and was gone but we still wonder."
