"Holtzople honored my request for an appointment after 2pm. Corey called 10 minutes prior to arriving and went right to work inspecting my ac system. He discovered some build up (he didn't call it mold because he doesn't have training in identifying mold but I'm referring to it as mold) on the coils, which he cleaned. He showed me the "mold" inside the coil cabinet and provided options and literature for a UV light resolution without pressure to make an immediate decision. His inspection discovered the system was 2 lbs low on refrigerant. He filled it and noted the level for comparison during the next inspection. Since the ac system was poorly installed several years ago by a different HVAC firm, there's a question if there's a leak or the system wasn't completely filled when installed. I chose Holtzople last fall to replace my 24 year old oil furnace because I wanted a small, local, dependable company for HVAC services. I've found everyone from office staff to salesmen to technicians to be pleasant and focused on my needs. Equipment options are presented in a manner that isn't condescending or inpatient that a non-HVAC person can understand. I believe I've found the HVAC company I'll be using from now on."

"Everyone from Presidential has been friendly and helpful -- great customer service! Glenn came to our home to discuss options to replace our furnace (fuel oil) and AC systems with a heat pump. He immediately understood that we were looking for a heat pump eligible for the new tax credits (unlike another company, who only provided estimates on what they had in stock). He prepared the estimates for 3 different models on site, and he noted that the heat pump eligible for the tax credit would cost about the same as an older model (unlike what the first company told us). We were able to schedule installation quickly, and then the adventures began. Harvey and Andre were here for 12+ hours...because a wire was either never connected at the factory or came loose during shipping. We also had to replace a defective line from our house to the unit. While it was a complicated install (not the fault of Presidential), we rec'd great service from hardworking staff members. Highly recommend!"

"Showed up late, didn't install the bathroom fan as the manufacturer recommended (pic, fan5), dented the fan grille (pic, fan1). It was installed without the supplied support rails because he claimed he couldn't get in the attic. Now sure how I got the photos, then... The vent hose was kinked in the attic and hardly any air came out of the soffit, so I had to go into the attic to correct it. That's when I took the photos. Didn't give a price up front because apparently a bath fan with bluetooth speakers isn't in whatever book they price from. Not in the book? Overcharge. Generally very unhappy with the whole experience and will be looking elsewhere in the future. Not sure how when the customer supplies EVERYTHING but a romex clamp someone can charge so much. Absolutely unacceptable. $465 to have someone dent my fan, install it incorrectly, and throw out the parts that weren't used. Like the battery to the manufacturer supplied remote and the joist supports. I'm leaving the cost of service as originally quoted because it was only lowered to $465 after I complained about being ripped off."

"The job went reasonably well. They completed it in a day and a half. The guys on site had a little trouble installing the high tech thermostat for the system, but their supervisor demonstrated real accountability when he showed up on a Saturday to make it right."

"The two person crew arrived on time and installed the heat pump out in the rain under a 10' pop up tent and replaced the air handler. The whole job was complete before the end of the day."

"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."

"I had the best experience with Hecomo Heating & Cooling. My house's AC/heating system stopped working all of the sudden and the temperatures at the time were 90 degrees and up. I was desperate looking into many different companies. Many of them, came over to my house and did estimates at ridiculously high prices. Luckily, I found Hecomo. They came to my house, did an estimate and were ready to install my AC/heating unit very quickly and at a good price. Also, the customer service was great. They were there for me throughout the whole process. They explained to me everything that I needed to know about the system and the features. Everything is very modern and updated. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "They came and inspected the sump pump. They recommended for it to be replaced. I was okay with it so they replaced it. They completed within half an hour. We then discussed the bill. They agreed to take off $50 because they have an Angie's List coupon that offers $50 off. There was also a coupon for $250 off a system installation for Angie's List members. I told them of this and they said it would only apply for HVAC units and I said to them that they are more than HVAC company, they provide more services than HVAC. They did not specify that its only for HVAC. The technician agreed and said that they're going to have to change that within our website. This was extremely misleading and felt like a bait and switch."

"Alan came on time and thoroughly evaluated my home's HVAC and duct system. He agreed that the duct work that I wanted done would likely solve the issue with my system and home. He was much more thorough that he could have been to satisfy my needs. I already had a quote for a much higher amount from Supreme Service Today who has been servicing my home for about three years. Suspecting that Supreme Service Today's quote was very high, I turned to Angi to get competitive bids. Since I had a bid at a much more reasonable price from Alan at One Hour Heating and Air, I contacted Supreme Service Today and asked for a price match. They were willing to match the much lower price from One Hour Heating and Air, so I gave the business to the HVAC contractor that I've been working with for a few years. Good deal! (: Soon I may break my ongoing contract with Supreme Service and come to One Hour Heating and Air !! :)"
