"Unfortunately, I needed an HVAC company to fix my AC during a heat wave. Most companies were 5+ days out before they could even diagnose our problem. Called 3 highly visible companies, from their marketing, who said they wouldn't even work on our unit. I went with a referral from a neighbor, mistake. This company took a week to get to us then the tech went MIA for 5 days with no contact when he said he would be back tomorrow with parts. Won't mention their name as there could have been multiple uncontrollable reasons why. I then did a lot of research on different companies across multiple review websites (including Angies) and Excel Air stood out. Once I spoke to the office staff, great experience, they had a tech out to our home in 2 days with our problem diagnosed. Our tech's name was Lucas who was efficient with his time, talked me through what was going on and gave us our estimate which we were happy to move forward with. Lucas fixed our problem in under 20 minutes. Me being me, I watched each step and saw the quality work. He even put in a fuse to ensure the same problem didn't happen again to our transformer. Once he fixed everything and got our new thermostat power, our AC has been working perfectly ever since. I'm now a really big supporter of Excel Air. Their office staff worked with our insurance company after hours and actually updated us (what company does this these days) the entire way. I can't tell you how impressed I was from their office, Lucas and most of all their successful resolution of our problems with our AC. Thank you Excel Air!"

"I was looking for a company to replace my hydronic heating system and inefficient condenser with a new heat pump condenser, as well as a new furnace system to support the heat pump condenser. I reached out to two companies and OC Excel quoted me a much more reasonable price, and both company informed me at the time of quote that they would need to cut open a portion of my condo’s ceiling where the furnace was at, but they will patch it back/know someone that would patch it back. On the day of the job, OC Excel did everything they could to avoid cutting my ceiling, so I wouldn’t need to patch it back later and have the marks, and they were able to do it! I really appreciated them going the extra miles for me!"

There was high pressure sales involed which I succumbed into as the sales guys were saying that I had fiber damage in my ducting and since I have kids in the house they said that it was very crucial that I do the change now. "Well this is an easy review to write. I received bids from no fewer than 5 companies, and had a wide range of experiences. But SoCal Climate Control, was second lowest in price (the lowest was for much lesser quality equipment), but highest in value. I have a home built in the 40's, and while they asked about/ offered other services, it never had the feeling of an up-sale. In fact, they said I was over buying initially (what I asked for). I followed their advise and couldn't be happier. I replace 3 window AC units with a 4 head 3.5 ton mini split system. I had it installed in early May (it is now December) and this had to be the most comfortable summer ever in this house. The units in the bedrooms are so quiet I can hear quartz wall clocks ticking over them. They are also heat pumps, which will also replace my gas wall furnace. The install crew were very professional, very careful, and super polite. Thank you guys, a super job and a super product."
