"I received service in January 2021 for a problem I was having with my hot water heating system. Problems were solved after replacing some components and I was not happy with the overall outcome of the way the repairs went. I paid for the service and everything was working but I felt like I had been given a wrong diagnosis based on details I will not get into. As a result, I gave an unfavorable rating grade. Recently I was contacted by one of the owners to discuss my experience. Ray and I had a long conversation and came to a reconsideration of the bill I paid. Ray has always been extremely pleasant to converse with and at the conclusion offered to refund the complete charges for the services in question. I never felt like I was taken advantage of, but was not comfortable with the process of the diagnosis and the resulting charges. I was left wondering whether other options, or tests should have been considered but I did not want to seem like I was questioning the technician opinions or skills. I new his skills were on an expert level but that does not necessarily mean that an error could not occur. At any rate I am going to try to remove my original rating and wholeheartedly give 5 stars across the board for Polar heating and plumbing. The fact that I was contacted to discuss my concerns and given a refund when I was not even anticipating this is a testament in itself that they are truly concerned with their customers opinions and ultimately the outcome and status of their work. I will continue to consider them with any needs I have in the future and am removing my earlier rating for them. Businesses that go to this level of customer care are, in my opinion, few and far between. Thanks Ray and all your staff for making me feel much better about the experience I had. I look forward to working with you in the future and I will highly recommend your business to anyone I can."

"The team at HWS was efficient, professional and highly competent. Our installation occurred approximately a week after our consultation and three days after hiring them. It was early in the season so Iâ m sure this helped with the quick turn around, but with that said, we were very pleased with the entire process and would absolutely recommend them for generator installation. We have pets as well and all members of the team were considerate of our space and friendly with our critters. "It went so well. Omar is highly professional, extremely skilled and fantastically knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained everything that he was doing. He even took the time to answer other question we had about the house's electrical set-up. He installed the box outlet, and, cleaned out the electrical on the back of the dryer unit - it turns out when the dryer was installed, it was hard-wired to the house and a few connections had come loose. These were rubbing against a metal plate on the back of the dryer, cause some wear, some melting, and some misdirection of the electrical charge (to the heating element, as the drum turned just fine). That morning, it had cause some sparks and pops! Omar cleaned it up, made it safe, installed the box and now the dryer makes heat, has not sparked, and is safely connected to the electric supply for the house, through a box and chord. We couldn't be happier - especially since he saved us literally hundreds of dollars on a new machine! Thank you Omar!
