"Bridgetown was prompt in coming out for the estimate, and when I agreed to have them do the work, they were out within a week to do the work. They were conscientious about cleaning up after themselves (grinding mortar creates a huge dusty mess). And, when it was discovered that the mortar in one section of the wall was solid and didn't need to be replaced, they told me that, and lowered the price by $500. They did such a good job that several of my neighbors in the condo assoc. asked them to do repair work too."

"They were friendly, efficient and did a fantastic job on replacing/repairing our aging chimney. They replaced the flashing which was previously installed incorrectly. The new chimney cover works great and keeps the birds out. Excellent job on the clean up as well. Highly recommended."

"Beautifully! Greg researched and secured 100-year-old brick for the walk, as my home and garden are old and eclectic. He found a terrific batch and, working around weather delays, completed the project quickly and efficiently."

"Highly recommend Soot Slayer. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of Brandon and Daniel. In addition to promptly contacting me after an Angie’s List inquiry, they followed up within 48 hours to see if I had any additional questions. My husband and I were also impressed with the fairness of their quotes and the quality of their work. We initially hired them for a chimney cleaning but also ended up hiring them to repair/restore interior and exterior issues with our chimney. I would recommend the Soot Slayer team to anyone needing their quality services!!"

"Excellent. Sunset Granite had a wide selection of granite remnants to choose from. We used the original vanity cabinet. Sunset Granite came out and measured and cut the granite to fit the odd shaped cabinet top. Then they installed it using the same granite for the backsplash. All was done in a very timely and professional manner. Highly recommend."

"We had used Charles for a bathroom remodel several years ago and were so pleased with the results that we knew we'd use him again for our next project. This time around we wanted to completely replace our 1960 kitchen (original to the house) with a more modern and efficient look. Charles responded immediately to our bid request, coming over within a day or two and providing a bid on the spot. When we were ready to commit, we asked him to put us on his schedule but luckily for all parties, we were able to be flexible about the start date. When he called to ask if he could come and start a full month early we were pleasantly surprised. The tear-out went quickly and the rebuilding went very smoothly. Charles and his staff were sensitive to the disruption a kitchen remodel brings and completed the work within their stated timeline.
We love the results - he had some really good design ideas that make the kitchen seem bigger than it is. We were dreading picking out the tile and flooring and countertop (neither of us is very good at that part)  but he is so knowlegeable and has done so much of this work that we found that we could trust his suggestions.

Yes, a chimney liner is essential. It prevents dangerous heat and toxic gases from reaching surrounding materials, reducing fire risks and structural damage.
