"My sweep, Adam, was on time (I would give 5 stars just for that in this day and age). He installed the cover and did a brief inspection of the bricks. He was quick, efficient, and polite. I had a great experience. I have ben using Jack Pixley for many years. I wouldn't go anywhere else."

"Patrick H of Minneapolis The Guardian Chimney team did a really great job for us. The came promptly when I first called and came to the house for a thorough assessment. Within a few hours of that assessment, I have a detailed proposal in my Inbox for review and approval. When the started work, they took out all of the old degraded brick and removed all of the waste from my property. The rebuilt my chimney and it looks absolutely fantastic - match the existing brick on my house near perfectly, and the installation is flawless. I am super happy with the work they did and with all of my interactions with the team. I highly recommend Guardian Chimney Solutions!"

"The salesperson was professional and helpful enough, but I was not comfortable with the estimate process, which was all done in the showroom. When I was told that a $200 deposit was required for the in-home "preview" of the fireplace install and another $200 deposit for the stone work 'preview', I decided to get another estimate. The Fireplace Guys provided a free in home estimate and came in about $800 less than $6,500 Fireside estimate for the exact same fireplace and options.

"Joe Olson provided options on how to go forward and materials to use. He brought brick samples so we could select the color and style. After agreeing to a contract he had the crew cover the chimney and part of the roof with a tarp which he checked often. The work started in March and they protected the roof with additional tarp and scaffolding. They kept the area clean from broken bricks and cement. No damage to the roof or yard area. The work crew was pleasant and hard correct workers. Joe inspected the work before the crew left the job. As there was ice and snow on the yard they returned in "nicer" weather to check and clean the yard area. The city inspector thought it was a great job. For the work and weather I feel the expense was very well within reason."

"It all went okay until I found out they did not have a finish carpenter to complete the fireplace mantle. I have granite tile surround and I had an email from them saying they didn't have a finish guy. I sent a reply saying I was surprised they didn't, and wondered if this was something that didn't come up much. I also asked if they had a different suggestion for finishing it, or if they proposed not taking on the job, No reply to email and 2 weeks later I got a phone call saying perhaps they could help me figure it out. Didn't go with that company,"

"From start to finish, we had a good experience with Fireside Hearth and Home. The store sales staff: very knowledgeable -- they had good information and suggestions but let us make the final decisions without pressure. The installers: neat, courteous, and very accurate  -- an especially welcome skill as they made holes in our wall to vent the stove pipe out and run the gas line in. The scheduler: a true gem -- she cheerfully juggled staff to guarantee our established start-up date.
This is the second purchase we've made at the Eden Prairie store (we had a corner fireplace installed in our upper level 15 years ago), and we would not hesitate to go there again if we ever want a similar type product installed.

"Nick and his crew replaced missing bricks, repositioned others, tuck pointed 24 rows of bricks and applied sealant. They arrived exactly on time, worked professionally and cleaned up after the job was done. The photos show the before and after."

"The Envision team did a great job with our fireplaces! We had an electric and a gas fireplace installed, repair work on the roof and a wood burning fireplace fixed. They’re a busy team, but they did great work while they were here."

"They delivered the products that we had agreed on. They came and gave an estimate to do our landscaping but no drawing or planning...just a final cost. It also took more than one day to typically get a return phone call.

Yes, a chimney liner is essential. It prevents dangerous heat and toxic gases from reaching surrounding materials, reducing fire risks and structural damage.
