"Roy was very helpful with the quotes and ordering. Which included, a new door, storm door as well as new deadbolts installed throughout. It was nice to have a company that did not feel the need to sell us a new door and suggested simply repairing the existing as it could be easier fixed. The order did take longer than anticipated to receive, and I had to follow-up with Roy on several occasions in order to get a status which was slightly disappointing. When it came scheduling, they were very busy and took several phone calls before I was finally able to reach the installer and get it scheduled. Slightly frustrating since i also work in the customer field I really expect a company to be on top of things like this. On the day of the install, the installer backed into our newly cut maple tree(and paid for) and took a few significant branches. I will say that they were kind in providing us with a discount for the trouble, but it was still frustrating all the same. I was originally quoted one day for the work to be completed, it ended up taking almost two days. Their quality of work with the door and all items was really great. The hardware was sturdy and everything was really nice quality."

"Initial person was too chatty, too much information, overwhelming. Later more succinct. Workers who did test & insulation (blower door test to reveal air leaks). Workmen were sufficient and polite. Two years later discovered they had caulked Marvin windows which should NOT be caulked in order to wash them w/ moveable parts. It cost me $175 to have them repaired or caulking removed. This was done & I submitted a bill 11/13/14 and have not been reimbursed yet. Have called 2x's to remind, last time man said he thought it was done and he would see about it. That was 3 weeks ago the last time and 7 weeks from the first reminder. It is now 2/24/15."

"The estimate that Dave gave me over the phone, based on my description of what needed to be done, was pretty accurate.  He came the next day with two workers who worked quickly, neatly, and did a great job.  His two guys worked for about 3-1/2 hours.  He charged us $75/hour for each of his two workers, plus the cost of materials.  Dave and his two workers were very professional.  A couple of the problems turned out to be smaller than I first thought.  The leaky kitchen faucet, for example, was just a matter of tightening something up.  A less reputable person might have tried to sell me a whole new fixture, but Dave had his guy show me exactly what needed to be tightened so that I'll be able to fix it myself if it happens again.  Honesty and integrity like that means a lot to me.  I will definitely call Dave again the next time we need repairs done around the house."
