"Overhead Door sent out a representative within 2-3 days of contacting them for an estimate. The representative was knowledgeable, very friendly and also saved us money by suggesting that we keep our existing garage door hardware, track and remote, as they were still in good working condition. I went to the Overhead Door facility on Riverside St./Portland to see the doors available in their showroom. They required a deposit to order the doors. Approximately 6 weeks later, the installation took place. They removed the 2 doors, repaired the existing tracks (now the tracks work better and look much sleeker) installed the new doors, re-programmed our existing car remotes, and walked us through the work that he had completed. I strongly recommend this company.

"Durable Remodeling replaced our back porch and stairs almost a year ago. The area underneath the porch is enclosed and used for storage. We began to notice that the door to the storage area was out of alignment and was not closing properly. This may have been caused by the fact that Dean and his crew made structural improvements to the porch during the original job. I called Dean to let him know about this and he asked me to send him a video of the door. I did this and he promised to come out and look at it as soon as possible. True to his word, he texted me when he planned to look at it and a member of his team was there as promised. The door is working perfectly now. This is the second minor follow-up to the original work performed. In each case Dean responded promptly and corrected things in a timely manner, at no additional cost. We cannot say enough about Durable Remodeling."

From the initial consult with a project manager to working directly with the owners of the company our front door project was as easy as renovations in your home can go. They were flexible about timing, communicative, and very easy to work with. We initially had our two front doors replaced and ended adding a portico to the front entrance as well. Marc, Raquel and their crew of many were able to accommodate our last minute request and finished the job with out pause. The carpenters and painters worked cleanly and did not leave any trace of their work behind, which is important for me with a dog, a few cats and small children. "The work completed we excellent and the installers were professional and thorough.  The only thing preventing an all "A's" review was some scheduling/responsiveness mishaps - bought off a deal that was fully subscribed, so it took a little longer than I expected to get the new doors installed.  In the end though, work was done well, and I am very happy with the overall product.
