"Prior to coming, he requested pics of what I needed. When he came he refused to address my front door locks, or the security door locks as not being necessary. The back door security he took apart and left a tiny piece inside which rendered the lock ineffective. He had to come back to correct this.He was more interested in charging me for a new lock, from the beg`inning, not to mention he did too much talking. He did not consider the discount relevent. As of today 9/13/2018 the lock is not working."

We have an older house with some tricky repairs and the crew was able to make the repairs, match the stain and they look great. We paid extra for the "dustless" service - well worth it to keep 99% of the dust out of the existing living spaces - but we still used plastic to seal off the living spaces as an added precaution. Whole job was done in under 3 days."

"Jim first built the supports for the porch roof, he then removed the support pillars, the railing, the floor boards.  On inspection, the Beams and Joists were not to spec, he came and discussed replacing the beams and joists, and gave an estimate for the replacement.  On agreement, the lumber was ordered and provided.  The foundations were inspected after the removal of the framework, we had epected the beams and joists to be replaced, but not the foundations which were the original from around 100 years ago.  New foundations were placed with modern materials.  The work took just over two weeks and it was hot ... we only had to deal with Jim the owner, he provided a detail estimate at the start of the job, and detailed estimates for the add ons, all of which were detailed and within the budget.  The original estimate was $13,000, at the end with changes the final cost was just under $17,000 and worth every penny.  I will say we did not have to do anything, Jim worked with the city for permits, we just provided checks as needed.  Kim has followed up on his work letting us know when we need to oil the porch deck and wax the ends.  I would hire Jim for almost any job."

"Douglas did a great job. He communicated with me easily to set up an appointment and he was here when he said he would be here. My apartment is chaotic - in the middle of a move, and largely unrenovated- he was truly pleasant about working in the dark, working in a mess, etc. When one of the ceiling lights would not attach to the ceiling because of an incompatible connection between old and new- late on a Friday afternoon he offered to go out of his way to go over to Lowes and get the part that would allow him to install the lamp!! And he did! I cannot recommend him highly enough."
