"Overall it went smoothly without major hitches. There we some delays in getting the windows delivered but that was not on the company. I also did not negotiate to paint the exterior window frames which would have been easy to do at the time of installation. Because it is a second story unit I had to pay someone to do this after the windows were installed. But besides that it was a good experience and was done without issues and it was on time. Their price was competitive. The folks who did the work and the estimates were friendly and professional and the quality of work was excellent."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

We worked with Nathan as our general contractor and he was great.  Fantastic timely communication and a true dedication to making sure everything was done right.

The main piece of work done was the renovation of our downstairs bathroom.  Nathan helped with the general concept and design ideas.  He was great to collaborate with and even found a knowledgeable vendor that had a great tile selection where we went together to pick out the tile and accents and vanity top.  The foreman, Saulo who worked in our place did great work, was polite and courteous, and cleaned up nicely every day since we were living in the space while the work was happening.

The work was done on schedule, even a bit early, and more than exceeded our expectations.  The bathroom is gorgeous and the attention to detail was meticulous.

Once we completed the bathroom renovation, we also hired Nathan to install a new vanity top and sink in a second bathroom, to do some general repairs to walls that were cracking and had major nail pops, and also to build a small closet upstairs.  The work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price extension.

Overall, it was a great experience - I really enjoyed working with Nathan, he's a great contractor who clearly cares very much about the quality of his work and the experience of his customers.  Highly recommend Nathan and Goodfellas Construction to others for jobs big or small!

"The complete job was done in two days. The workers drove from Patterson to Soquel (two plus hours), arrived on schedule at 8:00 AM the first day and 7:30 AM the second day. They covered all furniture, walls, floors, sidewalk and driveway out to their truck. Our responsibility consisted of removing ceiling light fixtures, smoke detectors, curtains within 6" of the ceiling and putting away small items so they would not get broken. The first day they removed the popcorn, did repairs and textured the ceilings. They left the heat on overnight to dry the texture and painted the second day. At the end of the job they cleaned everything, including vacuuming the whole house."
