Bob does excellent work, he really knows his stuff and is a master craftsman in all kinds of home projects, especially carpentry. We highly recommend Phalan Construction for many of your home repair/improvement projects! We definitely plan to use Phalan Construction for future projects."

"Service and work was exceptionally done. The owner called me within a day of receiving my voicemail message. He came by the next day to look at the job and gave me a quote on the spot. I needed the work done very quickly, and he fit me in within two days of seeing the job. The ceiling was badly stained from a central air conditioning unit that had flooded. It was dried out but a mess. The team put on three coats of oil-based sealer paint, and two coats of ceiling paint. In another room, the walls were damaged with holes and marks. They repaired the walls, matched the paint color and completed the job. They were on time, completed the entire job in 5 hours, and cleaned up beautifully. They were highly professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"Our experience with MA Design and Construction Co was seamless from start to finish. From the initial consult with a project manager to working directly with the owners of the company our front door project was as easy as renovations in your home can go. They were flexible about timing, communicative, and very easy to work with. We initially had our two front doors replaced and ended adding a portico to the front entrance as well. Marc, Raquel and their crew of many were able to accommodate our last minute request and finished the job with out pause. The carpenters and painters worked cleanly and did not leave any trace of their work behind, which is important for me with a dog, a few cats and small children. "We originally bought a big deal on Angie?s List for a small bathroom remodel through Pros Home Services. After taking half of our money up front, Pros? quality of work was so bad, that 12 weeks into the bathroom remodel, we had to fire them. We needed a contractor ASAP to finish the work, since we were without a shower for 12 weeks - and Angie?s List recommended Mike
Foote.  We told Mike our situation and he showed up right away to go over the details.  He had several jobs at the time, but still found the time to fit us and help us out.  He was great. The previous contractors had no idea what they were doing and left the bathroom in a horrible state ? the subway tile was installed completely crooked, the drywall had to be ripped down again, the beadboard was installed in a way that would give us major water damage, etc.  Mike walked us through all of their major mistakes to make sure that we didn?t end up with a bathroom that needed to be gutted again in a few months.  He came up with ideas on how to fix all of their poor-quality work without having to gut the entire bathroom and leave us without a shower for several more weeks.  He was proactive, asked the right questions, walked us through design options, and communicated with us very clearly on the timeline each day.  Somehow, in about 3 weeks, he was able to fix all of the previous contactor?s mistakes and we ended up with a bathroom that we absolutely love.  We are very thankful that he was able to help us out during our horrible experience.  We learned in the process that you can?t trust many contractors but Mike Foote is definitely trustworthy and I would use him again for all future projects.  He?s very easy to work with, his quality of work is great, he works hard to ensure his clients are happy with the end result, and most importantly ? he communicates very clearly about the project.  We should also note that his team was also great to work with and we even ended up using his painter to repaint our entire foyer and bedrooms ? he also did an amazing job.

"The work completed we excellent and the installers were professional and thorough.  The only thing preventing an all "A's" review was some scheduling/responsiveness mishaps - bought off a deal that was fully subscribed, so it took a little longer than I expected to get the new doors installed.  In the end though, work was done well, and I am very happy with the overall product.

"Terrible. We decided to order new garage doors through the provider. After significant delays and a number of phone calls and other communications that were not returned, the doors finally arrived. We were asked for more payment as there were additional "issues" with the installation. We had another garage program ongoing at the time of delivery (we waited 4mo plus for installation after being told it would be 6-8 weeks), and were not able to accommodate the installation of the openers we had ordered. The provider asked for full payment with multiple promises of return, but never did after 6 months. We have a series of unreturned phone calls and communications.
