"They arrived on time were very polite and went to work. No issues. Asked me to check if I was happy with what they did. YES, they even cleaned up after themselves. I am very pleased and would recommend then to any person that asked. The work on the window was great even did the finishing work putting siding back and interior wall finished . You would not know the window was just installed looks like it belongs there. GREAT JOB!"

"I called Green Homes, Home Depot, and Comfort for estimates.  Prices for Green Homes and Home Depot were nearly identical.  Green Homes took more time to explain the features of the windows, show a sample, give considered opinons on options when I requested them, and didn't have extra costs that Home Depot did.  I ended up cancelling the comfort estimate.  I've used them before, and was happy to try someone else. 
They came out right away for the final measurement and gave a tentative date for install.  I called a week or so later, and they confirmed the date, which was only about 3 weeks.  Just after 5 on the Friday before the install I realized I never got a confirmation call, and they were closed so I couldn't call.  But no worries, at about 8:30 Monday morning they pulled in.  Jeff, Jeff, and Mark were great all day.  They did the rooms that I needed done first first, and the room that I  needed last last (moving some furniture around).  They got the inside work on the 12 windows, including trim replacement, done day 1.  Day 2 they arrived again about 8:30 and quickly installed the slider door, then began the outside wrapping.  In the pouring rain.  They're due back for about 1/2 day tomorrow to finish the wrapping outside. 
The windows seem like very good quality.  They missed the grids on 1 window, but the guys knew it and told me as soon as they arrived on day 1.  They installed the wrong window, and will be back out when the correct one is received.
I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys again for service.

We our an insulation company is focused on improving existing homes or newinsulating new homes with all types of insulation spray foam cellulose and fiberglass products. All work is performed in house no subcontracting. Joel owner bids jobs as well as install the jobs as well.

"Immediately after this company finished the work and cleaned up (very nicely, I might add), I wrote a review for Angie's List, which I continue to stand by 150%.  The reason for this update is, that after all of this time (a few years now) and all the various weather conditions the job has been tested with, I can honestly say that I would have them come again - and again -  in a heartbeat.  House continues to look "new" and lovely, no dings, no breaks, no color stripping or fading, absolutely nothing to complain about.  Thank you for this opportunity to update my original bright and shining review.  And thank you again, G&J Home Remodeling Co, Inc.

"They did fine but I think it was misleading as to what it will cover.  They charged me extra and then I really didn?t know what the job covered.  According to him it was a bigger job that what the $99 covered.  He charged me I think $300 but actually he did only part of the entire job.  I will charged another $400 to complete all of my roof line and removing the ice.   

I really don't know if he was price hijacking or no because I don't really have anything to compare it to."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
