"We needed retrofit wall insulation and after checking around all the listings through AngiesList, Yelp, and others, we found that only Bay Valley and SDI does retrofit wall insulation work. We went with Bay Valley because the price was reasonable and they responded quickly and promptly (can't say this about SDI*). Joel was our estimator and he came out promptly at the time and date indicated. He was thorough and thoughtful on how he approached the job, not overselling or recommending things we didn't need. We live in an older house and he appreciated the home and looked for the most non-invasive method to take care of our un-insulated exterior walls. Bay Valley's approach is to come in from the exterior walls with the typical 2-hole process (high/low) to blow in the cellulose insulation. They sent two guys in and despite a couple snags in the job, they finished the job in one full day. Afterwards, they plugged the holes, textured and primed, and the next day came in to paint (our-supplied) paint. I was really amazed how well and seamless it all looked afterwards. They did a good job cleaning and even moved the cabinets in the garage back where they originally were. The real result? The mornings have been a little bit warmer than last week, but so far the heater has barely turned on over the past couple days. The house already feels warmed and less temperature fluctuations. We already got brand-new attic insulation last Fall, but the wall insulation really did the trick. A definite recommend to anyone who needs a good team to do insulation in their home. * dealing with SDI was a nightmare, unfortunately. With *several* calls about being in the ER, then lots of other excuses, it just didn't seem like they wanted to do the job or something. I originally made the request in August and this morning on Nov 10, I got a phone call inquiring if we still needed insulation done. sigh."

We were impressed how much attention to detail the company has for removing old insulation, clean-up, disinfection, and installing new insulation. They also replaced a damaged dryer vent in the crawlspace. Nico and Jeremy were a great combo to work with from quote through install. I plan on calling them back in spring for another project."

He was professional and explained everything in detail of what was work was going to be done and how long it would take. We scheduled within a week at a reasonable price. "When Insulation Alliance came, they were very professional. They laid down plastic everywhere in the hallway and the bedroom. They cleaned out the whole attic. They took out the old insulation and put in the new Insulation which was R 44. They cleaned up everything and everything was clean when they left. They also sanitized the attic. "We needed a new roof for our house. Our ‘old’ roof had few leaks and several problems that required the replacement with a new one. The last rain resulted in a water leak to the bedrooms area. So, we called Landmark construction energy upgrade because they did our neighbor's roof a year ago and they gave us an estimate at that time. This time, they just updated the estimate and they were able to lower it, which was cheaper than the other estimates we got. The good feeling was much better because it’s a family business who not only give the bid but do the work. No hard sell here or having the bid from one guy but the work is with unknown others - as it was with other bids. Landmark did the job so good and very fast as well which was awesome! The workers from Landmark made sure to clean the roof and they did a quality work. The roof was a mess with lots of humps, bumps and terrible pad for the Air conditioning. They rebuilt it all, and had people who came to do specialty tasks, such as hooking up the dish, the air conditioning condenser etc.… More than that, they also fixed the gutters and made sure they are connected correctly. All in all, this project is complete and done. We are no longer have to deal with the old roof and leaks for at least for 20 years. Before we did the new roof, The office staff helped us with the Cool Roof rebate from the power company and the federal tax rebate for an Energy Star roof, both of which we were not aware. Landmark construction energy upgrade are now our roofers who did a great work and have other great contractors to supplement for special tasks and run an all-around energy efficient business. If we ever move or we have a natural disaster, we know who will work for us."
