"Adam’s has a team of friendly professionals from beginning to end. We bought the house last year and needed to initiate service for our furnace. The woman in customer service had us booked quickly, on a day convenient for us. The service technician, Matt, called prior to arrival to let us know he was on his way. I can’t say enough good things about this young man. He was courteous, got right to work, answered all our questions and explained everything. He quoted all service he could perform while he was here and asked if it was okay to proceed. He took the time to look at all the radiators and recommend appropriate course of action on future service. He was knowledgeable and confident. If he is the future of the heating and cooling business, it will be in good hands. With employees like these interacting with their customers and the service we received, we will remain solid customers. We recommend this company and ask for Matt if you can get him!"

"In October 2020, I had a gas leak and I did not even know it until I was doing annual maintenance. The first company that came out made me believe that it could not be repaired and did nothing to mitigate the issue. I thought I would have to figure out where I was going find about $10 to $20 K to replace my boilers. I could not afford that. I called Sync Mechanical for a second look. They gave me an honest diagnosis of the issue and told me where the gas leak was as well. They told me that it is repairable and laid out what my options if I wanted to do repairs or replace it and the cost as well. They talked to me about their financing options at the time. I really had options. This gave me peace of mind because the gas leak was much smaller than I was made to believe before, but Sync Mechanical took the leak seriously. They identified other parts of my boilers that needed to be replaced to avoid pipes bursting such as my expansion tanks and pressure relief valves. I agreed to get the repairs made. Sync Mechanical ordered the parts, kept me updated on the arrival time, and called me when they arrived so I can schedule a time. Sync Mechanical was also honest about their schedule when also responding to emergency calls of no hot water. I appreciated that because I was never left with false expectations. They were able to fit me into schedule even when it was very busy. It felt great going with a local professional company that were honest at every step of the way and large enough to handle multiple jobs in the Hudson Valley. I did not feel overlooked. I have been stood up by contractors twice before so it was really important to me that my time was not being wasted. The repairs were done within a day and all the old materials were disposed of by Sync Mechanical. I also received my invoice in the mail which made it easy for doing my taxes. Sync Mechanical helped me make an informed decision and also learn more about how my boilers work. I never felt like they were condescending and I appreciated their respect for family as well."

"Several days after calling we received a visit from Steve, who manages client accounts/coordinates jobs, and John, president. Both men were professional and pleasant, and John went into detail in response to our questions, which gave us some confidence in the firm's competence. We were offered financing. We received estimates via email in a short time. Once we decided to proceed with JSP, Steve visited again with Travis, who determined materials needs and made an estimate of how long the install would take (2 days). Again, professional and pleasant demeanor, and questions answered with detail. Steve was able to subcontract fuel tank removal for a reasonable cost when we determined this was also required by our municipality. Steve filed the permit with our town early enough to start on schedule. Work was scheduled for the end of October. The work was conducted over three days, rather than two, but much of the reason for that lay with our propane supplier rather than than JSP. Overall I was pleased with the install. The crew was small, but well equipped and experienced. There was a company runner to bring items when needed rather than an installer having to leave. They also showed up with two trucks full of a huge selection of tools and materials. Damon and (another) John vastly exceeded my expectations as far as how pleasant I imagined it might be to have strangers working in the home all day. They did not mind explaining what they were doing, they worked steadily but without hurrying, and they treated one another with respect. They did not cause any damage to our home and they cleaned up after themselves. The third day was trying, with Damon having to return late in the evening after doing another job some distance away to hook up and fire the boiler after the propane was finally activated. This did not affect his attitude and we really appreciate his work getting everything absolutely right, including returning a week or so later to make a small adjustment to the system. Payment was requested once the fuel tank was removed a few days later and we had a chance to evaluate how everything was working. We will receive boiler maintenance for two more years, and we are confident the company stand behind their work. The company has automated text and email notifications to keep clients abreast of when staff are en route to your home (including a photo for those very concerned about safety). This was helpful."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Spencer and his crew totally transformed my stinky, wet, horrible crawlspace into a fully sealed, dry, clean area of my house. "Rd.I had to pay an extra $15.00 because I had an extra air duct or intake vent. He discussed how often the ducts should be cleaned and offered another service that would help disinfect and keep dust mights down. The extra service also extended the length of time before I would need to have the vents cleaned again. I chose the extra service and will not have to have it done again until 8-10 years from now. My nephew who is 45 was not happy I was having the ducts cleaned but he was pleased with their work in the end. I had this done in my last house twice so I am not new to this. I was pleased with their work. They started immediately and finished about an hour and fifteen minutes later. I have house that is almost 2,000 sq. feet. The $230.00 includes the $89.00 I paid when I ordered it through Angie's List.

"Used Angie's message system to send my request with pictures of work area, negotiated a price and settled on a date. Winston and his helper arrived on time and completed job promptly with no complications. I will continue using A Real Plumber as first choice for all my plumbing needs."

"Job well done but $480 in labor costs seems excessive. Helper did nothing but watchyet billed $160 for his services.  Good job but I must question value for cost.      

After the initial review was posted the owner, Mike, called and said he agreed that the helper may not have been necessary on this job but they can't tell what they may run into.  He indicated that I should have questioned the bill directly before paying.  He then offered to refund half the cost of the helper.  I have upgraded my review of the price as fair and the overall review as an "A".  In many years of using contractors I have never seen a compoany as dedicated to customer satisfaction as this one."

"Very well. Good suggestions, hints on daily care, time spent checking repairing. Communicated very well. Polite. I did not want to answer question regarding money paid or were services performed. This question is not clear. Of course, service was preformed. Money paid was relative to parts and/or labor. So this items needs to be divided out."
