"An HVAC replacement is a big investment. As such I performed a 'due diligence' search in the Williamsburg, VA area for new unit purchase & installation. The bulk of my search began on Angie's List and in the end I switched from the existing service vendor I've used for several years to Nelson's Heating and Cooling. From first call contact to final invoice payment I was impressed. Nelson's owners, staff and technicians are responsive, knowledgeable, well-trained, energetic, prompt and reliable - and determined to correctly resolve any unforeseen challenge. I found their product line offerings to be highly regarded in the industry; pricing was very fair and competitive. I've already contracted with them for annual maintenance service on both my home HVAC units. I expect Nelson's will have my heating and cooling business for many years to come. In the context of how intimidating an HVAC purchase can be to any homeowner / novice this was an incredibly pleasant & stress- free experience."

"Awesome technician, explained what he was checking and the associated results. Would definitely recommend Short Pump Heating and Air."

"The installation was seamless and they recently came out on a service call and patiently and clearly explained how to maintain the heat pump to me (I have zero mechanical knowledge and I understood the instructions very well). The recommended efficient heat pump is great for our house! I am impressed and would recommend them to everyone!"

"Another contractor had not been able to fix our heat pump after 4 visits in 2 months. Climate Mechanical diagnosed the correct problem on the first visit and came back with correct part and got everything working. It is great to have heat again after waiting so long on the other contractor. I highly recommend. Wish we had gone with Climate Mechanical first."

"Very professional installation. Very pleasant and respectful. Completed in one day. Price was very competitive."

"The company was extremely responsive - to emails, calls, and text messages. They provided a fair quote and, the day after we hired them, performed the service. The old system was removed and the new one installed quickly, professionally, and with no damage to very old plaster walls. Great work and a fantastic team!"

"11/19/24 Taylor Heating and Air did an excellent job of installing a new Heat Pump system for the upstairs area of my home. They replaced the old hydronic system which had gone bad. They did a complete system replacement. The technician Chris O. was extremely knowledgeable, professional and highly respectful of my property. Kept me informed and sort my consent as to how he was planning on accomplishing certain installation requirement. I got about five estimates for this job and Taylor had the most economical package. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC work or more. The whole staff were all very nice people."

"We had to replace our entire HVAC system in early 2019...not good news!...now the good news...we hired Merritt Homes to install the new system...it has worked perfectly since...now we have again hired Merritt Homes again...this time to do our semi-annual preventative maintenance. We give them our highest recommendation...you will too. Carl & Jenny L."

"Michael and Chris did a comprehensive inspection and estimate. It was complicated because they had to increase the airflow and they had to figure out a way to add supply vent. The possible solutions were thoroughly explained beforehand. It took longer than they expected for the install because they tried to minimize the aesthetic impact when installing a new vent. They also had to find a way to get the inside unit into the crawlspace without digging up the well wall. They did a great job and did not charge more than the contract estimate even though it took more time, manpower and equipment than the calculated for the estimate. The crew members were all courteous, knowledgeable and efficient - exceedingly professional. They cleaned up completely when they were done including removal of the old system. Would definitely use Automatic Climate again."

"Atlantic Heating came out at the scheduled time, and the installers were courteous, professional and kept my house clean.   They had no problem
installing a new coolant line, even tho another company said it could not be done!   Andrew came out to make sure the job got
started on time and correctly, and checked in several times.   He was available to answer questions, and responded promptly when we needed to move the thermostat after the installation.
They were very creative in relocating the new unit on my hill and built a very nice pad.
Andrew Cox made this purchase as easy and painless as possible and helped me get a Dominion VA Power rebate as well as
special financing.   When I have to replace my 2nd unit, I will definitely work with him.
