"I initially called to replace one sliding closet door panel and to adjust 2 closets with older tracks and doors that kept falling off. The first crew that came measured and photographed the panel to be replaced, and manipulated the other closets a bit to get them back on track.  Unfortunately, the closets needed a bit more repair to get them back to normal working condition. When I spoke with the office to confirm order of my replacement panel, I explained that the closets still needed to be adjusted. A couple of weeks later the panel had arrived and was ready to be installed. The owner came to install the panel himself, and did the adjustment I needed on the other closets. This was not a big job, nor a difficult one, and I really appreciated him coming himself to see how he could remedy my problem.  He certainly wanted to be sure I was happy with their service. Their pricing was more than fair, and I would definitely call them again if I have any need for sliding doors.

After my garage didn't work, I called Socal Garage door and I spoke to Oren. Oren was very nice to me and asked me to text him few pictures in order to see if he can detect the problem via the pictures. After I texted him the pictures, He called me and said that he see the problem and he asked me when will it be a good time to pass by and fix it. Oren sent his worker that came on the time frame that he said and he brought the parts that he needed for the work. He worked for like an hour and he fixed my garage. The price was very fair as well and they charged it via the phone. Definitely recommended company to work with.

"Our recent home remodel was pretty extensive. I knew I wanted to change some things, improve some things, and fix some problems with our house, but I didn't have any idea how to get there. From my initial meetings with Tony, I could tell that he was comfortable with the scope of the project, and that I would be able to work with him through all the challenges that I figured would come with a project of this size. Now that we've finished our project, I can say I'm glad we went with OM Construction. The price was fair, the guys were onsite 6 days a week from start to finish, and the quality of work was very good. During the project, Tony always had a positive attitude, and worked to help us solve a lot of problems with our old house ranging from framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, doors, and windows. His guys did a good amount of finish work too, including stucco repair, laminate flooring installation, molding installation, drywall/skim coating, and interior and exterior painting. Marcos, Carlos, Josue and Elias were all very respectful while in our house and took extra effort to clean up well at the end of every day. Overall I think the project turned out great, and I'll definitely call Tony the next time I have a project I can't handle on my own."

"Exodus was great. They were professional and kept me informed at every stage of the project. They also saved me from making a huge mistake! When selecting the stain for my new wooden doors, Exodus gave me the option of visiting their showroom or going to Home Depot or a paint store to select my stain. Since I was at Home Depot for something else, I picked out a stain from their chart and gave the info to Exodus. When my new doors came in, I got a call from Exodus telling me they'd tested the stain I'd chosen and that they didn't think this was what I wanted. So, I went down to the Exodus showroom and took a look at the sample piece they'd stained for me . . . and they were absolutely right. Exodus would have been within their rights simply to use the stain I'd chosen and install the doors, but instead they went out of their way to be sure I was happy, and did me a huge favor. I selected a new stain and my doors are beautiful. The installation on both the doors and the window was professional and fast, and everyone I dealt with at Exodus was polite and responsive. I'd use them again in a minute, and in fact will probably be installing some more new windows in the very near future.

"Jade Construction is the absolute best contractor in the world.
I first hired Issac (Jade Construction) to redesign/remodel my kitchen. The finished product was phenomenal; with black Ceasar Stone counter tops, back splashes, and sink; garden window, eloquent custom white cabinets, and travertine floors.
After having bad luck with other contractors, it was a miracle to find Issac (Jade Construction). Issac is not only ethical and professional; he is honest, provides outstanding work, stands by his word, meets deadlines, and has a very high standard for customer service.
Because we were so elated with Issac's work and the work of his crew, we hired Issac to remodel the entire downstairs. This job included remodeling the bathroom downstairs, installing hardwood floors throughout, a custom front door, baseboards and luxurious crown molding (that you would see in million dollar homes). The crown molding turned out perfect despite the curved, rounded and very irregular ceilings in this 1927 year old home. The new bathroom downstairs turned out so beautiful, that we also had Issac remodel the upstairs bathroom. Additionally,we had Issac install hand railings for the staircase; and electrical outlets and additional ceiling lights in our master bedroom closet/sound studio.
To our surprise, Jade Construction also has expertise in outdoor work. So we hired Issac to install: a 6 foot white enamel fence and a gas line in the backyard; electrical outlets and out door sensor lights (front yard and back yard); electrical outlets and water faucet on the front deck; and a new mail box with a lock.
I can't wait until we can hire Issac (Jade Construction) to redesign and remodel our master bathroom. We are saving our money right now.

"He arrived on time, and spent exactly four hours with us. He was very polite, focused, and knowledgeable. He used his computer to show us how the project would work and look when completed. Most importantly, he told us the sliding door in its original place could be possible without any problem; this completely countered what we were told by other prior contractors. When he showed us the completed project on his computer, we could see the difference. Although his estimate was more expensive than the other contractor on Angie's list that we liked, we chose Mikey. Now that the project is completed, we thank Mikey and are so glad that he corrected the mistake of the "BIG COMPANY!"

Mikey impressed us because, he did not only listened to our ideas about this project, but he gave suggestions how it could be different and better. The most important thing of course was to correct the location of the sliding door. That was extremely important. In addition, he also offered us the freedom to choose the material from the show room for the kitchen cabinet, counter top, and flooring with the same price. This gave us the liberty to choose what we would like without concerning ourselves with the higher prices. This was a big reason for which we signed the contract with Mikey.
 
Mikey and his partner are the type of persons with whom you can easily talk to and exchange ideas regarding your project and receive proper feedback. Considering that things would come up which one might not anticipate, we were able to talk to Mikey and his partner and discuss any concerns we had. I would recommend that if there are any concerns, share it with Mikey and his partner instead of the foreman.
 
A couple months later, when we found out that two of our electrical outlets were not operational, we called Mikey and his partner and they took care of them without any problem. We still have a minor problem in our kitchen. I am sure that, without any doubt, they will take care of it as well . In the future, I would call Mikey and his partner for my home projects and would recommend him to my family and friends."
